This is a step-by-step DIY installation of a 31.5" x 110" lighting fixture weighing 55 lbs. It took 19 hours to install from unwrapping the crystal balls to building a scaffold, stringing each one of the 351 crystal strands and 351 crystal balls, bracing the ceiling, mounting the canopy, installing the GU10 light bulbs, disassembling the scaffold and installing a dimmer switch.

Fantastic job!!! You certainly have skills to have installed it yourself....
Thank you…. It’s mainly patience!
Omg!! We bought the same one and is taking about the same time to install, thanks for sharing!!
@Leidy G Fitness Good luck with your install... pack lots of patience! =) it will all be worth it!
🤩👏🏾 great job. Looks absolutely beautiful. I got a similar one but will have to rent scuffolding.
Thanks for tuning in rkivuti! Good luck with your install.
Oh my goodness💕❤️ absolutely breathtaking😍👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks for tuning in Alexia!
This chandelier would have so much potential if they pass the light through optical fibers then each crystal light itself up.
Great point Pt Nguyen but wouldn't that cost 2x or 3x more?
I have a raindrop chandelier actually several in my home they are challenging to say the least mine is squares at different levels at each drop and weigh 75 lbs but beautiful!
Just WOW a real work of art☘️
Thanks Mary =)
Omg the stairs r gorg! And the chandelier 💕💕. House tour please looks like a gorgeous place 😄.
😄 thanks... i don't know about a house tour, we love our home but I'm sure it's not extraordinary... share some photos if you do install one of these chandeliers... tag me on IG #tacomamodxela. Cheers!
I’ve done a few myself, 19 hours, sounds about right to me! The 5ft ones takes about 4+hrs. And that’s not including scaffolding set up. Nice job!
Hey Mell Matrix, thanks for tuning in! You've done a few? I don't think I'll install another one of these ever again, lol! Yeah, it's not difficult to do but you must have plenty of patience. Good thing my wife and son helped me a little bit otherwise, I would have easily tacked on 2-3 more hours over the 19 hours! 😂. Anyway, thanks for visiting my channel and commenting Mell!
Beautiful 🤩
Thank you Rosalinda!
This goes great with your staircase! We just purchased the single crystal rain drop (sitting here for 3 days now in the box) so our assembly should only be a couple of hours. Thank you for posting. I'm motivated now! :)
Nice, all you need is a little push to start it and you won't stop until it's all done. Good luck with your install!

Salamat KD!
@@modXELA you’re welcome ☺️, are you in the u.s ?
@@KD-fp3qy no, in Canada.
We just finished installing this two days ago..it’s a very hard job..it looks so pretty but if you touch it ,it tends to tangle easily...have to be very patient...
I know, makes me wonder what a gust of wind would do to it. oh well, it does look spectacular, you just need to pack a lot of patience like you said... but it's worth it! Thanks for tuning in Me anu!
Thanks for the video..!! It really helps.. I bought the same rain drop chandelier and working to hang that now..
Did you use the sleeve anchor bolts to the wood for the mountain bracket? Or just the 8" bolts.. please let me know..
No, those were too short. I needed the 8" because of the added brace in the attic. I couldn't trust hanging a 60lb fixture using those. The entire install is tideous but very rewarding, once you start, you just want to keep going so good luck with it!
How high is your foyer? Mine is 30’ trying to see if this would be too long just beautiful.
Mine from the ceiling to the basement is about 27.5' so it should work well in yours.
Have you cleaned it yet, do you need to build the scaffold again?
Hi Vicever08, no I haven't. I have an airtight home so dust is not as bad. However, I will clean it this summer as I can see signs of dust accumulating and yes, I will have to build a scaffold again but it would be much simpler this time.
Please could you share the installation manual with the spheres and threads location sheet
Hi Job, I looked but unfortunately, I already threw away the installation guide that came with the chandelier. If yo have the same exact fixture as mine, it should be very straight forward. Each "circle" of strands and balls is marked from A to H. Within each are marked as A1, A2 & A3 up to H1, H2, H3. The "1" being the innermost circle and the "3" is the outer. Always start from the inside to outside. A would be the shortest strands and H will be the longest. Just a tip to make it easier, attach one strand with the crystal ball at a time. Don't do all the strands first and then attache the balls later, this will be cause more confusion and the strands will get entangled. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions.
Hi @job, I found an installation guide, go to this website: www.wayfair.ca/lighting/pdp/everly-quinn-driskill-13-light-unique-statement-geometric-chandelier-c000551271.html#productDetailsDrawer
Under the Specifications section, there is an Installation & Assembly PDF file that you can download.
Good luck.

Can you put up a chandelier for me
☺️ I wish I could but it's a very long process and I don't have time. Thanks but sorry.
Man looks scary
Yep and I'm afraid of heights even the slightest.
"One fourth".....or non filipino "one quarter" lol. Ninteen hours eh, I imagine it's going to take as long cleaning the dust off.
Lol... i couldn't find the right term at that time... should've been "quarter". I'm not worried about cleaning it as i won't be the one to do it but I sure hope it won't be 19 hours!! Anyway, thanks for tuning in. Cheers.
