At last someone who talks and doesn't just play music ....Thanks nice Video.
Thanks craig!
Really appreciate you sharing your skills. This video helped me get the gold effect I needed for my text. Using Affinity Design, by far the best software for graphic. Thank You 4GArt!
Fantastic Tutorial :) Thanks for sharing your talent and skills with us :)

Thanks Louis
Nice...great work keep it up
My pleasure
(Update from 3 wks ago) IT WORKS!!! However, I could not pick my colors as directed in the tutorial. I had to use the color picker in the swatches panel (to the right and just above the layers panel! out. YOU MUST SELECT THE FILL TOOL [G] before you sample the colors. This tutorial was too awesome! I couldn’t give up! Thank you!!! 😃
Yess :D I'm happy for you!
When i select the color near the droper the whole gradient changes and the points disappears
Make sure to select one of the color stop before you click on the color near the dropper.
@@4GArt I have the same problem
@@4GArt Awesome tutorial. I’m having the same problem. I’m selecting the color stop, holding down on the dropper, sampling the, color releasing the dropper, and then selecting the color, and all of my stops disappear. And my rectangle fill, immediately become a gradient.
The same was happening to me. But I figured it out. YOU MUST SELECT THE FILL TOOL [G] before you sample the colors. The gradient will show up on the rectangle. Don’t use the color picker as shown in the tutorial. Use the color picker in the swatches panel (to the right and just above the layers panel). You may have to play around a little bit to figure it out but don’t give up!
i had the same problem. But I solved it myself! Instead of pressing the eye dropper in that first window where you have all the inserted points, press the COLOR below the points, per point. And then you get another small little popup with the eye dropper again, and then it works! I was about to give up as well. But this worked for me!
Unfortunately, that doesn't work with the normal Affinity designer, maybe there are different versions of the Affinity designer, but thanks anyway for the effort
Does this work in affinity photo? when I select the color after using the dropper, all the points disappears
Make sure to select a color stop first. Yes, it works in Affinity Photo too.
@@4GArt Thanks for the reply. As soon as I select the color stop,,i click on the dropper to get the color needed and when I click on the small color circle all the points disappears and only 2 left
@@disittoo4424 I think it is a software bug.
@@4GArt thank you man will check this out.
Doesn’t work. Followed every step and once you select the dropper and try to select the color after it delete all the inserted points to the gradient.
