Bruh words don't even express how glad i am to have found this video...there is NO WAY i would have been able to complete my biology case study without this. I've taken all sorts of science courses through my school career and never understood the different variables before now. Thank you thank you thankyoooouuuuuuu ;w; Bless your holy teacher face for aiding me in the frightening quest of completing honors biology with something higher than a D.
This is really helpful. I can actually keep the difference between variables straight, whereas before I had trouble recalling which one was which. Thanks.
My college professor assigned us to watch this video. But honestly, it helped me and idk how to feel about that lmao. Awesome job on explaining so well!
Alex Koning, thank you! I use this in my Master level research methods course - so many of my students haven't had to think about variables since middle school - so again, thank you - you have created a valuable tool for MANY grade levels!
what makes this design unique is that they are using plants to explain how things change based on what or how you provide somthing for the design. I think that this design was used because it easy to see what has changed in the expirement.
At 2:20 you have INDEPEDENT VARIABLE. I think you meant "indepeNdent variable". Wish it was fixed so I could use it with my students! Other than misspelled words, this is really, really great.
*independent variable* : the thing we change. *dependent variable* : the thing we are trying to measure. *controlled* : the thing we dont change in either experiment. saved you from 8 mins of cringe.
I'm literally in college watching this
