I just picked up my 2019 Mercedes-Benz S560 (new) from the dealer and also picked up a new 2023 Mercedes CLA 200 for my sons first car. I only ever owned Porsche's and Audis since i've had my children so switching to a new brand was a big step. I'm really loving my S560 and my son enjoys his CLA, I wanted to thank you for your helpful videos. Kudos!
😊 Thanks for this video especially the defrosting windscreen segment. Btw which wax / ceramic coating/ mercedes starguard would you recommend as the internet is filled with literally 100s of products ALL claiming to be the best ..... KR Steve
You are welcome Steve. The defrost is so handy in the winter months! Because my car has matte paint I can’t use it but if you have a gloss finish this is the best still I think Meguiars hybrid ceramic spray wax.

Tip for car play, if you have an MBUX Merc you can buy it from the store, if it doesn’t let you, you need to take it to the dealer to upgrade the FUP software and then it will let you buy it (Mainly for older model cars)
Hey, my current car here does not have the adaptive cruise control. I’m not really a fan of self driving features myself so chose not to spec it but I hear it does work well.
@@ABAUTOAMG I see, good to know it does work well on Mercedes. I heard it isn't very good on Porches where it can sometimes automatically brake when a car overtakes you on a different lane. Also on the bright side; you have a 3D front grille emblem. Which looks better than a flat mercedes emblem when distronic is chosen. If you ever choose to mod your front grille emblem to a gloss black one you can do that. Distronic front grille emblem can't be modded since there are sensor tech in it.. Just some information I've found out when I tried to look for a dream car.. hopefully you found it useful.. Thanks for your reply! Awesome channel I watched many of your videos :D
Great vid. I think you left out a very useful (IMO) feature, which is that you can program the button of the 'wheel' on the RHS of the steering wheel. I programmed mine so the car goes into Sports + mode (from my usual Comfort driving mode) at the touch of a button. Useful when approaching some traffic lights that might turn amber and you need the extra oomph to avoid the red light - without having to worry about having to position your thumb and forefinger exactly right or how many clicks to turn it. Also, WRT Apple CarPlay, I've tried various 3rd party USB-C to Lightning cables and adapters and surprisingly, many don't seem to work. Nick O'Leary alluded to this in one of his videos. I'm looking forward to the release of the iPhone 15 with USB-C port. My previous USB-C Android phone did not have this problem.
Hey, I've driven it in the snow and it handled great. I did not take it through deep snow though mostly squashed down and salted roads. It's not super low so I think it would be ok but I would advise against driving it through deep snow If you can.

Hey, yep it’s a stock factory paint. I have a video picking the car up from new. It looked amazing under the showroom lights. It’s called Designo Magno Mountain grey. It’s a satin finish.

I'm on the list to order a 2024 45s, but keep going back and forth between white and magno grey. Are you still happy with the magno grey or do you have any complaints after a year or so?
Hey, I’m going to be 100% honest. I absolutely love the Magno grey and have no regrets. It just looks and feels so much more special in this paint and it suits the car so well. Everyone comments on the paint and it always looks good even when dirty. The white also looks great but the Magno grey is just so much more special in my opinion :)
I don’t consider these to be Mercedes exclusive features. That’s why number 1 is the reverse camera ;) Just things that I think work well in modern Mercedes for new owners to be aware of :)

Do you think the cla45 is good in snow, im just afraid that its too low and might get too damaged
