These change (alllll the time) but to give you a reference on my measurements since we are sewing: I am 5’5” and my measurements are as follows, upper bust 44”, full bust 45.5”, waist 39”, hip 46.5”

My vote is the white floral print dress! 😊
Definitely do the MaCalls pattern. Love that dress! You could even do that in a solid black also for evening wear! Both ways I think would be fantastic for you. 😀
Love the darker fabric for McCalls 7740. The jewelry is so very dainty.
I think I’m going to make both dresses if I can make it to the end of this month. I think both will be beautiful.
The jewelry is dainty, which is perfect for every day. They have some chunkier bigger jewelry that are nicely designed statement pieces.
For 7740 use the Stylemaker fabric
Use the Hobby Lobby fabic for the Butterick print.

The ladder trim is called entredeaux and is often used in heirloom sewing. I think you can get it in different widths and is usually white.
Thank you! It was offered in white, I was honestly thinking (I know pies in the sky) that I would be able to match it. It's close, but to my very trained floral designer eyes it's off. Way off!
But I must say I had never heard it being called that way, so thank you!

Hi Alex, I like the navy-style art fabric that is an excellent transitional piece for fall. Grace, from so lovely with Grace showcased a mini G pattern using the orange floral fabric that you showed please check out her channel. Alex,Temu has some cotton lace trims but, I have not seen any ladder trims there.
