In the city of Salinas, in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil, there is a gas station under the Shell banner, Posto Salinese, which has no respect for the neighborhood. The establishment is located in an urban area, so it is surrounded by neighbors: the elderly, the sick, children, people who are studying. Almost every weekend, there are parties that last all night. They usually go until dawn. At these parties they play the music so loud that no one in the neighborhood can sleep. Low quality music with naughty sound and obscene lyrics. To ensure that Shell's franchised establishment has a modicum of respect for the surrounding community, we will need to turn to God, but God is in heaven and unreachable for poor souls like me. More than a thousand contacts were made with Shell, without success. It seems that the Shell Select Salinese gas station does what it does because it has Shell's DNA: greed and disrespect for people and the environment. Currently, the UN considers noise pollution to be the second most harmful form of pollution in the world, worse than water pollution and second only to air pollution.
