  • How much should one exercise ? The optimum amount of exercise we need depends on our bodytype or doshas.
    A Kapha person needs more rigorous forms of exercise, someone who is a Pitta dosha needs moderate amounts while a Vata body type requires very light forms of exercise.
    For the common man, a good guideline Ayurveda gives is that when one begins perspiring under the armpits, it is enough to stop exercising.

    Thank you for your videos how can i know my exact dosha? one test gave me im kapha pitta the other gave me that i am vata.. i was trying to treat my bowls colon by eating right and this confused me. hope you can help thank you

      A दोष | doṣa quiz is not an exact science, so it is good you took an assessment from a couple of sources. That said, most quizzes assess विकृति | vikṛti, your current doṣa state, but not प्रकृति | prakṛti, your base doṣa state.
      If you are serious about your health, try a consult with a credible ayurvedic practitioner, ideally with expertise in नाडीपरीक्षा | nāḍīparīkṣā or pulse diagnosis. As you follow a personalized regimen, you will become more self-aware, more mindful of ayurvedic principles and how they apply to your life.
      Bottomline: Investing wisely in your health will pay you many times over 🙏🏽
