It's not always you. I made all the texting mistakes possible with certain guys who stuck with me, and got ghosted by people with whom we've had nothing but pleasant times. Sometimes the case is your guy is terrified of having a relationship, or is biased against you being a potential good partner.

GURL, I have heard the, "I'm not looking for a relationship right now" at LEAST twice this year! And I ain't ugly. 💁🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️ Don't take it personally, it seems like something they all say nowadays, since they can get sex for free and with no commitment. Oh and don't think that you can change his mind on that. You won't. No matter how amazing you are. No matter how hard you try, it will be a waste of time trying to convince him. 🙄 I am TELLING YOU from experience..I was like a monkey in the circus, trying to prove to him that I was worthy of him and to reconsider. I never liked the question "How was your day?" from someone that barely knew me. It's too personal. I want someone who truly cares about the answer.
Thank you! I thought it was only me. I usually reply with something jokey or ask if he is free to talk. If he won't make time to talk to me, I block and move on. I know it seems harsh but I've been online dating for a year and interacted with about 30 men. I can now recognise the time wasters and players. This channel has really helped me. At first I was very naïve and believed all online men were honest and seriously looking for relationships. Silly me. I did not know about ghosting, gaslighting, bread crumbing etc. Have now experienced them. Block delete move on really helps.

Which if you do it all the time like that would make him feel comfortable to not invest into calling you if he can lean back and have you call. Or do you say OK, then call me when the guy says yes free to talk and you just wait whether he calls or not?
@@bettesalmon8136 So this guy was REALLY CUTE NO CAP. We met on a dating app. He's the one who liked my profile first then I asked him for his number then he gave it out. He used to complimented me a lot, even KEPT BEGGING TO ME FOR SENDING HIM MY PICTURES and initiating a convo for solid 3 times. We texted almost like everyday but then he suddenly blocked me just yesterday for no reason after I was asking him about ''how was ur school day'' in voice note.

I definitely have adhered to the texting rule of only talking for date logistics and lean back on just texting a guy about my day. I am definitely a huge texting person but I realized I cant treat a new guy like one of my best friends. I realized that most people are not stimulated by how my day is going and random things that aren't substantial

A good rule of thumb is don’t meet up with men you haven’t had a phone or FaceTime with. It saves you a lot of time half of the people can’t even hold a conversation.
This definitely is true and is a mandatory requirement for me when dating. This is my rule I will not entertain conversation via text once numbers are exchanged it lets you know how serious a person is too. If they only text they're not seeking anything serious.
Exactly. Because for me it's a screening test if sorts. And it has worked

This channel is specifically directed at women interested in men, so probably no. Also, there’s plenty of content directed at teaching men how to text - the only catch is they’re teaching guys how to ‘run game’, not how to communicate with women. It is what it is.
There’s men’s dating channels for that. They’re out there.
@@dianafloss5910 I think Ryan adopts a particular persona/tone to communicate his message to women, like a best friend would. Ryan Patrick and Kev Hicks are the only channels I pay attention to for this type of content, and Chloe and the Pink Pill for feminine and bw centric content. Highly recommend.

I appreciate that he doesn’t really care about hurting feelings 😂 his content just got a little too repetitive for me after a while, like he was just repackaging topics and I felt I’d got what I needed out of him. If you like the hard truth (tbh we should all embrace it lol), he’s a decent recommend as well

@@TaraKandece I'm working on calling (voicemail of course) rather than texting more. At least I can sound cheerful. The only problem is, unlike texting, I rarely get a call back. At least with a text, a person can type just a couple of letters to acknowledge.
Ask when are they free for a chat on the phone and call at that time.

Take back text: in online dating “getting to know you” format, I think it sometimes sounds too much like a business transaction. I’m 40+ and I’m tired of holding back about who I am and what I’m looking for. But I may be too forward 🤷🏻♀️

If he was really interested, I wouldn't have needed to reach out like that. I should have let it go. Obviously, he never called. Now, I no longer chase men. I'm happy he never called.

The sandwich-story😂😂😂! Ryan always lifts my spirits😍. I've said to someone in my past "You are very special to me", but he didn't disappear then, only much later. The text I wish I hadn't sent recently was "You have turned my world upside-down🌊." It was my reaction to his saying (over the phone-call) I love you.
one text message I definitely wish I could take back is something along the lines of the what are we text. I realize I was definitely rushing things and truth be told, even if the guy had said he was ready for exclusivity, I definitely wasnt

Due to closed borders. We were trying to get to know one another phone and text. Letting him in too soon and saying too much about feelings although he said he reciprocated..we had lots in common..except maturity. Borders still closed and I'm glad it ended sooner than later and that I wasted nothing but a few months of constant texting that he initiated. But my texting per your suggestions I'd say was in the 90% great range.

In the context, after you have gone on the first initial date or a few dates I think these rules apply.
Otherwise you have to screen by texting the guys before you even agree to go on the date. The ones who are crazy, needy, narcissistic, not interested etc will present themselves and you move on to other options. A good rule of thumb is if you find yourself getting annoyed with what he texts (or doesn't). It's already going down hill because it's a very basic form of communication.
Consider dating apps like a very base form of duty dating. It's just practice, not the end all say all.

A text I wish I could take back is when I told my crush I liked him as soon as we followed each other on Instagram before he left for military training because he has feelings for me but he is a lot more reserved and cold now that I have done that. Tip for you all don’t tell a guy you like him be old fashioned make him tell you first and let him go if he doesn’t make you feel worthy as a woman!!

Wow the "I'm so bored" text thing... if there's one sentence I could delete from existence forever, it would be that! I never spew that one at anyone, but gaawwwd do I HATE receiving it. That's definitely one of my dating pet peeves! "Okay, you're bored. Does this mean you need constant entertainment 24/7? Are you not capable of pursuing some interest, or hobby, or -anything-?!"

The I miss you, chewing him out, getting jealous, apologizing for being jealous, having a bad day and telling him about it, etc. but still he tolerates me. I dont know why. Ive even tried asking him why and he'll just laugh it off and change the subject....

Heh heh heh...I'm that last one. I mean, it's not like I do it in the beginning of the relationship (acquaintance, friendship, or dating), but I will be direct about how I feel regardless of anything. I mean, if I notice I may have caused some tension, I can easily bounce back and hide my emotions, but for some stupid reason I feel the urge to just say what I feel like it is. Bluntly, regardless of consequence. This has both positive and negative effects from what I've noticed.

We started off casual about 4-5 months ago, but then didn't see each other for a while. Recently caught up and it was different, more intimate, he was more vulnerable, there was a deeper connection i hadn't seen before. He's also the first guy I let stay overnight, i never let myself become vulnerable like that. We continued texting up to NYE (both busy with work), he sent a lengthy text..i responded and asked what he was doing for Nye and got no response then I messaged him nyd wishing him and ask him what he was doing that night..got no response. I once had a guy I went on THREE dates with. He started texting me a lot while I was busy at work, and *obviously* could not respond. He then called several times. When I finally got back to him and had a phone call, he was convinced I was texting other men while talking to him....and then started serenading me with a Soulja Boy song...Kiss Me Through the Phone. Needless to say - I ended the conversation and sent a text saying not to contact me. He totally disappeared. 🤣
