You might try AVON SKIN SO SOFT. Magic on mosquitos!!! Smells wonderful. Feels soooo soft on your sjin and 100% repels them. Sandy O'Shaughnessy. I live in Orange County California it helps with bees here not many mosquitos.

Cool fact -- Maumee means messiah in Native language. So the St Mary and St Joseph rivers meet up with Maumee. Try citronella candles for skeeters.

Hi ! I’m researching inexpensive places to live for my mom and sister who’s income is combination social security and adoption stipend - my sister adopted her 3 young grandkids. Together they have an ok income - it’s just not enough to buy a home anywhere in Washington state. They do not care if it is boring but would be interested in services for special needs children. In order to purchase a house in Fort Wayne what are the requirements as far as length of employment and residency?

What do the native residents do about the iron in the soil that turns bathtubs, sinks, and toilets orange?
Hey there. That’s not an issue if you have city water. However if you live in a rural area and you have well water you’ll need a filter system to take out the iron. Otherwise you’ll have the problem that you described with orange stains on your fixtures
If you go to Fort Wayne you must go downtown to Coney Island Hot Dog . I grew up in Fort Wayne and I remember going to Coney Island when I was a young child with my parents. It's the best Hot Dogs in town. The chili is pretty hood also. I retired in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Warning about them only get so many you will fill up fast but they are good
Gage, I'm coming back to Fort Wayne late July for a family reunion. I'm going to Coney Island while I'm there. I graduated from Northside High School 1966. I live in Sun City, Arizona. I was a Phoenix Police Officer for 28 years. I get back to Fort Wayne about every other year for family reunions. I still have alot of friends in Fort Wayne. It was a great place to grow up.
It's always heartwarming when a local spot holds fond memories from childhood. It seems like Coney Island has a special place in your heart, especially with the mention of it being the best hot dog place in town and having great chili.

Hi! I currently live in Portland Oregon but want to relocate to Fort Wayne. My boyfriend is the bigger bread winner. He's a Land Surveyor with the last 5 years as crew chief with the same company. We both have great credit. What should our first step be?
Shouldn’t be too difficult. The fort has an abundance of jobs. And if you’ve got decent credit your chances of finding a place is good. Real estate is super affordable. The city is growing rapidly and they’re actually building multiple new spots right now, including on the waterfront.

Would you say Fort Wayne is a fun place to stay if you don’t have a car? E.g. are there public transport options within the city & connected to other cities and is there enough to do in Fort Wayne?
I would probably not rate FW as a great place to live without a car. We do have a public bus line but we aren't connected to other cities very well in that regard. I think there are a ton of things to do in Fort Wayne
Buses stop running here at 8pm weekdays, even earlier Saturday and they don’t run at all Sunday. Not to mention, if u live even a mile outside of most of the city’s limits a bus won’t go your way. If you don’t have a car this IS NOT the city for you. This isn’t Chicago, Milwaukee, New York or LA. U can’t get around without a car here trust me
I think it depends on your choice for neighborhood. I lived on St Mary's boulevard and I could walk to Krogers, the co-op natural food store, the library, the zoo at Franke Park, and even downtown.

Lived here my entire life and the only two testicles I go two is jonney apple seed festival and the street fair in Bluffton but if you do go to jonny apple seed go to junk food ally you will gain wait from being there let alone eating anything

The only thing I can think of what you're trying to say is the street that Johnny appleseed park is on is called Harry baals drive. Named after a old fort wayne mayor named Harry Baals.

Mild winters my ass. 10 degrees and 100% humidity is off the charts. I couldn’t wait to move out of that area. There seems to be a phenomenon in Ft. Wayne in that the majority of people there are obese. Maybe it’s something in the water. Also, seems the majority of vehicles are rusted... only thing keeping the bumpers on some of the cars is the Trump stickers.

@@saleemjavaid8870 there isn't any major clean bodies of water to fish or swim unless you travel about an hour north, the roads are terrible, the zoo is small and boring, the parks are full of trash and drug paraphernalia, the cops are assholes, it does have a few nice restaurants and bars and picking up women is easy if you drive a vehicle under 20 years old and have all of your teeth.
Perhaps you should look haunted Indiana by The Speakeasy. Indiana has some of the most beautiful state parks.
