Also for the northern neighborhoods they just built a brand new elementary school for Northwest Allen district. I don't think they've drawn the district lines yet to find out which neighborhoods will feed into that school though.

Very enjoyable video. You completely updated me on the growth and desirable areas to live. We lived on a farm near Ossian, IN., almost 40 years ago. We are retired and have thought about a very small lake cottage for summer. As we live in Texas, but have family in Fort Wayne area. Any bargains for lake cottages? In the 150,000 price range.

New subbie here I have 3 boys and am from the island Jamaica I love the out door because as of now am living the mountains country style and I love rivers so am thinking of migrating so I would want a similar setting a backyard pond would be nice any suggestions please

If you move near New haven Ave don't go to fleet wood has never been good you will lose a window or two

it's not the realtor's fault, but the market's: from an outsider's perspective, I don't get why Ft Wayne city isn't more valuable than the suburbs. I get it: schools, but like the city needs some loving too for Ft Wayne to being just known for being cheap
There are several emerging neighborhoods in the city that have home values on par with the suburbs. The gap is definitely closing I'd say. I live in the city and I love it

Yes, would you be interested in something close to downtown or more in the suburbs?
Keep away from anything south of the downtown area. I wouldn't recommend anything in the immediate proximity to the east or north of downtown as well.
Long story short, go north.
Fort Wayne has a bus transit system but it's very limited. Unless you want to constantly take an Uber or lift, you're going to need to learn to drive.

There’s some in the 46807 area too, but most of our older homes are wood sided. Unfortunately we don’t have an area that is mainly brick homes like that. At least none that I can think of.

I grew up in pine valley it was all country back then
I grew up in pine valley in the eighties. Its nice that the area got better developed but I still miss the way it used to be.

thinking about selling my house , getting a apartment i am 50 but i need a apartment with car garge for my electric car to charge ? difficult to known if they have a outlet to charge near apartment door were i would park ...running a cord out a door wouldnt do ?
