This is great. I’m going to attempt it, but with some colorful fabric in the panel. Good riddance skinny jeans! I’m convinced only Mick Jagger looks good in them. The rest of us maybe not so much. You’re adorable and love your creativity. Thank you!

Same here! I found this beautiful dark blue fabric that has sparkles, and it looks like space 😊

THANK YOU!!! I now wear my skinny jeans for yardwork, chores, painting, etc. My calves/lower half my my legs can no longer fit into them due to either swelling or larger calf muscles (or both) so I'm literally in the process of altering them TODAY because I need them back up and running ASAP!

Luv that something I've been doing since flares first went out of commercial popularity in the 80's has been rediscovered. So much more comfortable!!! Try filling the v addition with fancy fabric for a striking look.

Definitely makes for a more flattering jeans shape. Adding non-denim fabric is a great idea! I'll try that next time :)

trying this today with an old grey pair- be prepared to be very patient with the seam ripping! it took me two and a half hours on size small jeans.

Thank you! It's a bit hard to make psychology related videos as I'm not doing the bachelors/honours anymore but I do have more phd related content planned :) might make some dedicated videos about topics in my research area (personality psychology) though!

I got the idea to do something like this because this one pair of upcycled jeans for Valentine's on pinterest but I didn't know how to do it
I think I'm going to make the flare bigger, but thanks!

Good luck! I would've loved a bigger flare on mine but sadly didn't have enough fabric for it.
