Try using white vinegar instead of fabric softener. Provides softness while removing any waxes/residue. Signed a fan and clothing maintenance engineering specialist 😂
Even though I've worked in the fashion industry for more than 30 years and am 59 years old, I'm not an expert. I like watching your videos since I usually pick up something new. I'm ashamed to admit that throughout my entire sewing career, I have misused the seam ripper. I never found out the purpose of the ball mechanism. One of my old school teachers at F.I.T. forbade us from using seam rippers. She did not want anyone to scrimp and save money or accidentally ruin the garments. I was picking up slow sewing techniques. I have retired from the Fashion Industry 15 years ago. Yes I will use this technique in your video. I discover a fresh method for enhancing a pair of jeans' width. You've offered me a new viewpoint on how it should look rather than the conventional one. Keep up the good work. Happy to see students attend your class. Much Success to you.
Girl please i‘m so GRATEFUL you helped me doing this, i turned two skinny jeans that i planned on throwing out into the coolest pants ever THANK YOU SO MUCH
Your pair looks better than the inspiration. Love that the added fabric is upside down. I've always loved wide-legged / elephant pants. I actually still have a box of all my old wide leg jeans from high school days in the 90s in storage.
OMG OMG OMG I have been googling trying to see how to make my jeans wide leg and you posted this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤ This is why I will support you forever. I may even fly back and forth and take your class 😂
The Barrel Jean is awesome ....however this design is so unique....Love the fullest of the orignal pant w/the contrasting darker denium...YES, I will be making....
I absolutely love you, this is definitely going to be done. I have been working very hard on your tuxedo white shirt with the sleeves cut for sides. Lesson learned...you have to do the math formula you talked about...I struggled but i won. I am proud, thankful for your sharing your talents.
LIke you, I love these more than the barrel jeans! I was intrigued by the barrel jeans, but knew they wouldn't suit my body well. These are a great answer!
Your choice of denim made these jeans look ten times better than the original Pinterest pair. Well done and cool necklace too, did you by any chance make it yourself?
They look very comfortable and good on you. However, I'm turning 76 years old next month; and, I love wearing my pull on, old lady jeans. When I was a lot younger I would have tried to make myself a pair of those jeans. I have been trying to figure out how to make a pair of long, pleated pants that do not look like pants (I want them to look like a long, pleated skirt). I owned a manufactured pair (with matching jacket) back in 1979. I wish I had kept them.
🔥 As ALWAYS, you NEVER disappoint! I love the distressed look aaaaand your version actually looks BETTER! ❤ You know me, still can't sew, but if I could, I would definitely make. Guess another run to mama's house... "MAMA, she did it again... I found something else I want you to sew for me!" 😆🤣 Thanks for sharing ANOTHER banger with your added FLAVOR to it! 🫶🏾

Love these. They look great and have a sense of humor. You see what they came from.
Most definitely, I will make a pair for myself for the fall.
Oh yes! I will definitely be making these jeans.
I love how the pants turned out! Love the fit and ease of a full long length pant leg! And paired with the corset the whole outfit is a vibe! ❤
Thanks so much!!
Just clever! I never would have thought to add the gusset upset down! It gives an awe inspiring vibe.
Yes, when I saw it I knew I had to try it!
I absolutely love you, this is definitely going to be done. I have been working very hard on your tuxedo white shirt with the sleeves cut for sides. Lesson learned...you have to do the math formula you talked about...I struggled but i won. I am proud, thankful for your sharing your talents.
It looks great!
What do you think about adding the back pockets near the bottom, but above the hem? That way you could have usable leg pockets!
LOVE these!!! I really want to make some like this!! Hopefully soon. Thanks for the great idea
LIke you, I love these more than the barrel jeans! I was intrigued by the barrel jeans, but knew they wouldn't suit my body well. These are a great answer!
Yes, I think they’re way more versatile 👌🏾
Very neat! ❤❤ yes so happy to see more upcycles 💓

Hi
Adorable, as usual. Something to think about for jeans. Thank you.
You did a great job on those! I like the doc Martin's with the jeans, and the bustier made the whole look pop!❤❤
Thanks so much ☺️

i'm learning so much by watching youuu
Your choice of denim made these jeans look ten times better than the original Pinterest pair. Well done and cool necklace too, did you by any chance make it yourself?
Thanks so much!! I didn’t make the necklace. I haven’t made jewelry in a really long time. I suppose I could have though 🤔

She makes it look so easy, I been dun just messed up material!!! 🤬😡
Yasssssssssss! Girl, I will definitely be making these SOON. Those jeans need to be in my closet. Which sewing machine did you use?
I’m using my Janome HD9, but it will work on any heavy duty machine without much effort.
Super funky, I like those a lot💙💙💙💙👏👏👏👏
Thank you 💕
I love them, you make it look so easy. Beautiful
Well done! The styling at the end looks sooooo great on you. Love it!
