In this video, I'll show you how to fix bootrec fixboot access denied in windows 10/11 PC.
This error mainly occurs while fixing blue screen error.
If you are getting the "Bootrec /fixboot access denied" error, it means that you do not have the necessary permissions to run the Bootrec /fixboot command.
This can happen for a number of reasons, such as if your computer is infected with malware or if the boot sector is corrupted.

You're a champ. Worked for me, although there wasn't a volume marked "SYSTEM", I had to gamble that the 100 MB one with FAT32 was the right one.

After the extern housing for my backup M2 crashed in the backup process i have no other choise to shot down the pc - this killed the Partition. D was c and c was not there.

When I tried to copy to F:\Windowre, received a msg "failure when attempting to copy boot files.
When I tried to copy to C:\Windows, received a BFSVC Error: BCD strings MUI load failure c:\windows\system32\bootstr.dll (2)

May i azk for help? For some reason, all the previous steps worked for me but then comes the bcdboot c:\windows /s z: /f all and it did absolutely nothing, it said nothing, no created files nor failures, im hoping i can get help with this problem

I followed everything to the letter and, even though there were no issues leading up to the last step, it still fails with an access denied error.

@@VideoGuide Fortunately, it turned out that I didn't need to run those commands after all. After struggling to get the OS to boot, Windows finally loaded without giving a boot error BSOD. I suspect that my Seagate NVME M.2 SSD may be the culprit as other folks on the internet have complained that this drive is prone to early failure. I hope that isn't the case with my PC.

It's a corruption or missing boot files error. It's different than this issue. Find it on yt. U will get it easily.

What if ‘system’ doesn’t come up under any of the labels ? I only have hard drive, system reset, and my usb (with the fresh windows install)
There should be disk numbers instead of labels. Usually, Disk 0 is the default drive.

Quick question! I did ”list disk” and it said ”there are no fixed disks to show” does this mean the hard drive is broken/corrupt?

sounds like you are getting your commands mixed up, there is a bootrec command and a bootsect you are putting in a command that does NOT exist bootrect
It's nothing but an incorrect command issue. Just put the right commands with correct spelling.

Cmd couldn't locate Boot files there, that's why ur pc is showing that error. Either they are missing or corrupted.
I have added video in the description for those who get this type of failure. You can check that.
i received this error in another situation because the partition selected as destiny was lacking space. I just expanded the partition by some MBs and it worked.

You should contact Microsoft support team. They will assist you better than me. I just showed what worked for my PC. I didn't know windows added new errors in already occuring errors.😐

It happens due to Spelling mistakes.
What if I already have a letter assigned to the OS drive/volume? Then what?
Then use that drive in the commands. The default is C but u have different than that then use that letter.
