    Thanks for useful video for simulating li-ion battery pack. I'd like to analyze air cooling of battery pack consist of 70s 6p 21700 cell using MSMD model. But, there's no suitable guide for it. So could you make video or some advice for it please?

    Thanks for a wonderfully and patiently explained video. I want to model a single 18650 cell with heat generation and natural convection alone. But while running the simulations, rather than converging, static temperature of my battery is rising suddenly after increasing the iterations. so what should I do ? how can I decide on optimal number of time steps?

      Select suitable mesh size and accordingly select time step size.

      @@FrontiersInCFDDo you mean to say that Courant number be considered ?
      If so what should be the fluid velocity since its natural convection ?

      Velocity is difficult to change as per flow however we can change mesh size and time step size

    What is the meaning of reference zone?

      If fluid is flowing from inlet to outlet for the flow reference zone is fluid

    what should be the boundary conditions if air has to pass over the battery pack (IP67 Battery pack)? Anybody please

      select air as working fluid during material selection define the fluid zone for air
