  • In this Excel video tutorial, let's learn how to make a line chart with two axes or we can even call it a correlation chart in Excel.
Let's join two line charts into one let's combine charts in Excel Let's take more than one chart and put two charts in one
we can use the chart with two axes in Excel to compare values and see if there is a correlation between the values for that we can use the combination chart in Excel the combination chart can have only one axis or two axes as is the case for example with chart that we are going to use in this free Excel tutorial to make the correlation between two pieces of data
correlate data in Excel It may seem like something difficult to do but it is actually quite simple and easy we only need a line combination chart or we can still do the same thing but using a column chart or we can still merge charts in Excel using chart of columns along with the line chart this combination is usually called a goal chart but we can also make a correlation with a bar chart and line chart column chart and line chart in Excel or even area chart with column chart etc
a correlation is when we check whether the increase or decrease of a value leads to some action on the other value that we are comparing, whether it is an increase or a reduction for example in this video I am comparing sales through a sales spreadsheet and the margin of each one of the of the months I want to know if when the margin increases whether sales follow or not I want to know if there is a correlation between margin and sales in my sales spreadsheet in Excel
Are the values directly proportional or are the values inversely proportional or is there no correlation between the values?

I just have a question regarding the final graph, 6:51. When you have a small dataset, it is easy to figure out by “eye” the points of the graph or the period in which you have a correlation. Do you know if it is possible for Excel to provide you with the most correlated period? For example, in your dataset, can Excel indicate that between wk 3 and 4 was the best period (negative correlation)?
