In May 2013, the band was formed by trumpet player Eric Miyashiro as the music director.
They have performed with a number of charismatic jazz musicians such as :
Pat Metheny, Marcus Miller and David Sanborn.
Furthermore, they have been highly acclaimed overseas performances such as the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

This is such an awesome video! I've loved this tune ever since hearing it from Steps Ahead's record Magnetic. Also enjoyed the WDR Big Band + Steps Ahead version. But this one is probably my favorite arrangement! So many great people are here!

タイトル見た時にはまさかとは思いました。
ワクワクしてくるリフに、壮大な展開、元気になりました。ありがとうございます！
アースキンさん、名人だなあ。。。びっくりした。千里さんも完璧に千里さんで、リードドラマーっていうのはこういうのかな。テナーソロから３人の鍵盤のソロ、ドラムのソロ交換のところ見てたら、訳もなく涙がぽろぽろ零れました。見て良かった。普段こういうビッグバンド的なアレンジのものは聞かないんだけど、管の音色がふくよかでとてもいい、癒しになります。
本当に最高のメンバー、最高の曲。ウェザー・リポート全盛期に、たまたま渋谷のヤマハ楽器にぶらっと一人で来ていたピーター・アースキンの試奏を観る機会に出くわしましたが、ドラマーから見ても凄かった…神憑ってましたね。川口千里ちゃんも大好きで応援していますが、歳を取ってもあの貫禄、スムーズで繊細、正確なスティックさばきのピーターさんにも脱帽です。
ドラマーが交代するたびにガラッとサウンドが変わるのがまた気持ち良い
この5月に名古屋Bluenoteで聴く予定でした。
しかし中止になるも、こうやってライブさながらに聴けて感激です！！

6:06ドラムのソロ回し、ピーター・アースキンさんから川口千里さんへの受け渡しのとこ面白い！
特に手の高さの違い。
味のある、弱音も含めた微妙なアクセントで、まるで「歌うような」ドラムのピーターアースキン。譜面もよく読んでブラスとシンクロさせてる。
直後の川口さん、手が心臓より上、スティックも頭の上になる位置にセッティングした23歳、
「これから獲りにいくぞ！」
って気合いで、アースキンより短い尺しかないのにインパクトを出そうとしてるのが伝わります。
あれ？川口さん、アースキンからパターンを受け継いでインタープレイしてる。
てことはお互い音を聴きながらの録音かぁ。

去年この曲生で聞いてすごい感動したの覚えてる。
すごい！今年の初めにブルーノート東京でのエリック宮城氏とボブジェームスの共演行きましたが改めてこの編成はすごいメンバーが揃っていて圧巻です。
またライブが再開されたら必ず聴きに行くので頑張ってほしいです。
