  • Adventure Truck LLC went to Overland Expo West 2018 in Flagstaff Arizona. There we talked to Eric at the Smittybilt booth. He showed us the new Smittybilt Atlas prototype front bumper for the 2018 Jeep JL. The Atlas bumper has already been released for the 2017 - 2018 Jeep JK.
The Atlas features a recessed winch mount, removable front bull bar & front fascia, with Smittybilt Roller fairleads and Hawse aluminum fairleads. You can run up to a 12k lb winch in the Atlas. It also has a skid plate, D ring mounts and factory fog light cut outs.
Smittybilt was running their X2O winch inside the hidden winch mount, which has a wireless remote control system and auxiliary control box.
The rear of the 2018 Jeep JL also had the new Atlas prototype bumper with tire carrier. It reuses your factory backup camera, as shown in the video. The rear Atlas swings open with one locking latch and offers mounts for a high lift jack, a mount for your third OEM brake light, and sotrage areas for 2 5-gallon Jerry cans.
