    Has your kayak got a wheel .. if so, would this wheel be suitable for transporting the kayak, perhaps from a car-park to the water ... Or is it really just for beach use. ? It seems a very useful feature with the Feelfree kayaks, I’m surprised other manufacturers don’t adopt this idea.

    • @FishAnything
      @FishAnything  4 года назад +1

      It’s a great concept which I miss however it definitely makes it track worse in my opinion. I like the design of my native kayaks and I purchased a c-tug to transport them longer distances down a ramp.

      Thank you for your answer.
      Would the optional skeg make tracking better?
      I am going to buy a sit-on kayak and I'm 99% certain I'll buy the Feelfree Nomad.

    So, I am getting back into Fishing this year! I would like to buy a Fishing Kayak in the Future! My Dad and I used to have a Canoe years ago. What would you suggest as a Beginner Kayak. I have heard that BassPro Ascend Kayaks don't Track well. And I was looking at one Yesterday at L.L. Bean. It was an Anger 120. List price was $699. It did have the dry storage compartment in the bow,2 permanent rod holder's etc ect! Any ideas on a decent Beginners Fishing Kayak?

      Andrew - thanks for asking! Always happy to help 🤠 as Kobe and Larry said, the Ascend and Wilderness kayaks are both great options. I would expand a bit and ask the following: 1) how big are you? 2) do you want the ability to stand? 3) what types of water systems will you primarily fish? 4) price range?
      After that, I’ll have a better idea of how I can help! Feel free to DM me on any social media site as well, I’m happy to go into detail there and it’s easier to see the messages.

      I'm 5'11, 215lbs. Mostly fishing in Canals. I will budget for $1000.00. I will still have to buy PFD and Paddle. With that in Mind I have been looking at the Ascend 10t &Feel Free Lure 10 Kayaks!

    • @FishAnything
      @FishAnything  5 лет назад +1

      Definitely think the FeelFree is a good option although a 10 might be a little short for you... You could look at used kayaks and see if you can find an 11.5 for a good deal! Also, I recently posted an entire series on the Native Manta Ray 12 XT as well which is a very comfortable kayak and affordable at the $899 price point. Based on your size, I really think you’ll be comfortable in most 11-12 foot kayaks. If you want the ability to stand with ease, the FF & Ascend are both great options. If you want to stand but feel like you’ll sit more often, the Native is faster and lighter so that’s why I like it. Otherwise, you might also take a look at Vibe kayaks which are pretty decent and affordable. DM me on IG, Twitter, or FB if I can help more.

    IMO the Feel Free is the much better option. Please enlighten me ONE thing the NS does that the Feel Free doesn't? An for literally half the price. It's slower, barely lighter and barely even wider or more stable. There's literally zero reason to sell the lure for that Native Slayer other than bragging about what you spent. Guarantee the native slayer gives you ZERO advantage over the Lure.......
