      It’s a good kayak once you go over everything, thanks for watching 👍

    Awesome setup! Happen to know where you got the mount you have on the front for your camera/action cam? Tight lines buddy

      Jason Atkins it’s two gopro mounts made into one, I just took off the handle on the 3 way folding monopod gopro mount and screwed it onto the suction cup mount, I had to cut a small piece off of the monopod mount to make it work 👍, it is working great now during the past couple of months.

    Great video. New sub from Tampa! I've looking at this or the Mako Riot. I like that idea of using that water snake trolling motor. What size trolling motor did you go with and did you make that mount?

    • @StatesideFishing
      @StatesideFishing  3 года назад

      Thank you, it is the 24lb thrust watersnake, I did make the motor mount out of some scrap wood I had, I have a video of how I made it on my channel here if you’d like to check it out.

      @@StatesideFishing cool. That was my next question. I did see that Watersnake has a universal kayak mount.

      @@hmanone1063 yes I did use it for a bit, it broke on me twice so I made my own 👍

    Is that the seat that comes with it and is it pretty comfortable

    • @StatesideFishing
      @StatesideFishing  2 года назад +2

      Yes it is the seat that comes with the kayak, I had to upgrade to a taller back rest because the low one was uncomfortable. This seat is also adjustable for height but it kept coming loose and dropping on me due to the poor design so what I did is set it to a height I like and tightened all the bolts down fully, this stopped the problems I was having with it although I can't adjust the height anymore unless I loosen the bolts but I like where I have it set.

    Do you have a link for the motor?

    • @StatesideFishing
      @StatesideFishing  4 года назад +1

      David Gentry yes I do, it is posted a couple videos down under this one, watersnake trolling motor, lightweight and quite fast.

    How did you mount the trolling motor bracket on there? I have a Lure 10 V2 and there's no way to reach up in the kayak to attach the nuts to the underside of the plate.

    • @StatesideFishing
      @StatesideFishing  2 года назад +1

      It's mounted to the track, one 10mm bolt on each side. It's been working great for me and is solid.

      @@StatesideFishing I'm wondering the same thing. I don't know what you mean by mounted to the track, it is nowhere near the track. Could you please elaborate it would be very much appreciated.

    • @StatesideFishing
      @StatesideFishing  2 года назад +1

      @@peterrothwell6629 the bracket that holds the motor is mounted to the rear tracks, there is a video on my channel of how I made the bracket for free from scrap wood I had laying around the garage.

      @@StatesideFishing I found the video, I like that idea, but how did you do it directly to the kayak like it is in this video ?

    • @StatesideFishing
      @StatesideFishing  2 года назад +1

      @@peterrothwell6629 if you watch the video you'll see, it's hard to explain that's why I made a video lol
