Yes, please to a sew along. I haven’t tried sewing knit fabric and would love to try one of these patterns. You have such a kind, clear way of speaking and teaching; I would love to follow you in a sew along@
Aw thank you so much for your lovely comment, this is quite an old video & I'd forgotten about that pattern. If I do make it up this summer, I'll do a sewalong for it. In the meantime if you are new to knits I have a sewalong for the Mandy Boat tee that is a little bit simpler than that one to get you started - I wouldn't want to tackle the Stardust if it was my very first knit project!
Thank you for your advice! I’ll look for your Mandy Boat tee sewalong and give it a whirl, and set the Stardust pattern aside for now. Please take care, and please know that, new or older, I have enjoyed all of the videos of yours that I have seen so far. Best wishes for a Happy Easter from Canada. : ). Gayle
Thanks for this list of tank top patterns Sam! I love that they are different than the ones I found and put together in my video. I think the hot weather had us both thinking the same thing… Free tank top patterns 😀 Thanks for the mention too 😍.
Brilliant video!! I actually have lots of Spit Up and Stiletto patterns from years ago, don't think I've ever made one up. Would be interesting to try them. Oh and I loved the "lecture" 🤩🤪 you would make a lovely teacher!!! 💖❤️
Thanks Sam. The Pattern I use from French Designers Patrons Les BG for stretch boxers for my husband also has a tank top in the pattern. It’s not cheap but must be my most used pattern. It’s called the Bold or L’Audacieux in French.
Hello Thank you for what you do here on YT. If it's not too late, I would be interested by the Zero Waste Sewing book review. I haven't seen it in your sustainable sewing playlist.
For the stardust... you need it for the length on the top. I’ve done the color block with viscose and I love it. The group is really good for helping if you have questions.
Thank you Sam! I think I might actually have the Simple Summer Racerback Tank Pattern by Emily of Life Sew Savory via Craftsy. Is the recommended fabric for this pattern Knit or Woven? I'm guessing Knit? Since Summer is approaching, I figured I'd try Tank Tops this year. I'm finally getting the courage to try garment sewing.
Hi Tisa, I have rewatched this video & don't know which pattern you are referring to, as I don't mention a Kimono t-shirt but all patterns are linked in the description box
