maybe someone know the song that is played S01E02 when the king sign the treaty with francis and get angry after and turn his tent up side and down...same song also when Catherine in same episode goes bare foot to church to pray for a son.....
Thank you for your work in compiling all this music; I've been able to expand my taste in music thanks to you. I greatly appreciate these wonderful playlists. I don't know if you're still active here, but if you are, I have a question: S02E08 ("Lady in Waiting"), at around the 33 minute mark, where Henry is unconscious and injured (the sequence begins with Cromwell watching the hourglass and ends with Anne praying), there is a choral work that plays. What is it? I've always wanted to know what it is, and I haven't been able to stumble upon it. Can anyone identify it?
Brandon Mooney Yes, I do. It’s called ‘Missa O Michael III. Sanctus and Benedictus’ by composer John Taverner. The best version is sung by The Sixteen. Beautiful piece!
@@HistoryGirl1989 Thank you so much! The version by The Sixteen was indeed an excellent recommendation: a wondrous palace of sound. I've also been able to find some sheet music of Taverner's entire 'Missa O Michael', and I've been reconstructing parts of it so as to better apprehend the relation between the voices. Again, thank you so much. That piece stood out to me when I first heard it in that episode, and I've desired to hear it in its entirety ever since; and thanks to you, I can at last enjoy it.
Thank you so much for uploading this.
Thank you for this video! I’m finally watching The Tudors and loved this song 😌 So glad to find it.
This is the piece of music I wish to be buried with. I love this beautiful piece of music.
Thank you very much!
Thank you..
