By holding Alt, you can look up and down while on a ladder. Also, generally, the trade stations have 4 different inventories for the stores that cycle, so the drill will come back.
Good way to save fuel in flight is to get to max speed and then turn off dampeners (Z, make triangle red) instead of turning off the primary propulsion device (in this case jetpack). This way you can continue to fly at max speed and just maintain altitude by tapping jump button at certain rythm to counteract gravity effect. Once near destination - turn on dampeners in time to slow you down before the collision with building or a ground, which is less important with jetpack, but critical with other flyers.
I know you explained why you didnt get the hand drill cause of your worry about the credits but ya could of got the drill and did the contract for iron which ya find an abundance of so that lil investment would of paid off
Haha, because I’m stupid and don’t want to try to remember the periodic table. 😆 Joking aside, for me, it’s much easier to use the first letters of the resources.
Ah, good question! I need to explain my thinking more. I probably should have bought it but i didn’t because I was anxious about having enough credits for hydrogen and enough to be able to buy a grinder if it showed up in the store. If I try to make it to the next station, I will also need to buy power cells if I make the trek out. The drill would have used up more than half of my money at the time. Also, I thought it would stay in the store longer and I would have the option to buy it later when I had more money.
Yeah, I thought about that too, but without the option to buy components or ships at that station, money wasn’t going to do me much good at the moment. And I would need to find silver or gold because that was all they were buying at the time. Unless I was lucky to find a quest for a more common ore I guess.
did you ever look into those lockers, the ones straight ahead when you first enter that trade building? you can also check all inventories at the same time (on the right hand side inventory) when you click from helmet icon to container icon, make sure to click it back again.
If I understand which ones you are referring to, they are locked and I can’t access them. Good point with the switching inventories. Now I’m curious if I switched and forgot to switch back while checking lockers…
No, not really. I am just skipping the night with the Admin tools because I know it’s hard to see videos at night on RUclips. Just trying to maintain the illusion. 😆 Thanks for watching!
u do know the drill has an ore detector in it? but u have to be holding it. u have to because u cannt be new to this game. wtf? u one of those people who like doing everything the hard way?
Haha. I really wasn’t trying to make it harder than it already is. I started with nothing so for most of the first episode I didn’t have a drill. And once I got it, the types of ore that were useful to me were limited so I was focused more on learning what was around to make a plan.

I didn’t know the alt key looking worked in ladders. That makes so much more sense!
That was cool, keep it up!
Thank you! And thanks for watching!

Interesting method. I’ll have to test it out!

those beds and lockers get things in them about every 20 minutes
Yes, someone else also pointed that out. It’s a good tip!
Yay, been waiting for this to get uploaded. Good luck sir.
Thank you so much! I hope the videos live up to the expectation.
you can hold "alt" to look around while climbing a ladder
I didn’t know this worked with ladders. Great tip thanks!
Fun video, got really invested in it. Can't wait till ep 2 comes out. Got a new sub off of this vid 😊
Awesome! Thank you!
Is this available as a scenerio on Steam Workshop so I can give it a try myself and play along?
Just drop ur tools and select ur tools to not be there on respawn
Bro.... Why not just use the element symbols for naming things.... Like Si for silicon and Ag for silver...

@@PsychoTheBear13True true, If it work then why change it! Anyways I'm loving the videos!!! Please keep it up!!!
I don't understand why you did not buy the drill 15:09.

I had the same question. With that you could have mined ores and sold them, so it wouldn't matter if it was your last credit.

cool idea for a start might try it new sub and thumbs up awaiting for the next one
Thanks for the sub!

Love these series!
Just wondering, you running any mods?
Are beds actually working to skip the night in single player?
No, not really. I am just skipping the night with the Admin tools because I know it’s hard to see videos at night on RUclips. Just trying to maintain the illusion. 😆 Thanks for watching!
@@PsychoTheBear13 there is a mod to sleep in a bed to pass the night
Oh yeah? I didn’t know there was one.
@@PsychoTheBear13 yes name : sleep mod :)

Like this aspect starting with nothing, looking forward to next episode.
