Good video. Nice Bris boat. Gonna do the same to mine soon but with the metal adapter for garmin and "hole-less" mount, not to make holes below the water line. It is considered that in time these screw holes are gonna give in to water anyway, as sealant ages, it would start to let the water through invisible to the owner, ruining the transom.
Thank you. Is a good video for us laymen. Will a bait pump next to it disrupt it? Thinking of putting it away from my old finder. Transducer on one side bait pump on other. What do yo think? Thanx
Nice video..How is the setup working? I think the Directions explain how much its suppose to extend from bottom of boat. Look at your mounting template paper again, where holes are in relation in bracket. They are midway in the adjustment slot. Thats just how I did mine. Im not a big fan of plastic mounts. plus it has the spray shield. Now Im thinking on getting the Garmin 010-12006-11 Transducer Transom Mount Port = Left - both are four letters. Starboard =Right - both are more then four letters
@@DaBinChe do you have any problems with the transducer creating any rooster tails? I just installed the same transducer on my inflatable boat and it's causing all kinds of rooster tail issues when I go faster.

four letter words, hopefully I'll remember that, thanks
great video! How has it been working out for you? Do get clean reading while the boat is cruising/planing?
my motor is too small and boat too short to plane, max speed is maybe 6mph

@@JuanitoSu my boat is not fast enough to plane so don't know
@@DaBinChe cool thanks. As long as it is working out for ya!
Does it start automatically when on the water after installation or do you have to manually set it up to work?
Looks like the transducer is pretty far down into the water. Did you have to adjust it and if so in what manner?
I set it up per the instructions.
Hello. With what size self-tapping screws (if I'm not mistaken)?Specifically its length.
Don't remember. It comes with all the screws.
test run?
Transducer is too low..only to be 3/8” below bottom of transom on an aluminum boat& 1/4” on fiberglass.. it needs to be raised
Dread, please tell us that is dust and not drandruff in your hair!!!!
Your killing me
It’s too painful to watch.
