Flora, you and your friend are awesome! Courageous and adventurous! 👍 There are more beautiful mountains waiting for you to explore in Taiwan, be safe and happy trails 👣! 😊
Thank you Flora for sharing your journey Watching your videos is not only inspiring but also empowering-your strength, determination and love for the mountains are amazing to witness. Your storytelling and the way you document those breathtaking views inspiring so many of us to chase our own heights-both literal and metaphorical! ❤
As a Taiwanese, I've only hiked to the peak of Jade Mountain, the highest mountain in Taiwan and in East Asia. You're so great! The views, especially sunrise and sunset, in the video are stunning😍
Taiwan has managed to keep alive the traditional Chinese culture that was lost under the Chinese Communist Party over the past century. On top of that, thanks to its prime location, Taiwan has stayed ahead in trade and technology. The people here are hardworking, resilient, smart, down-to-earth, and have a natural knack for business. Honestly, I think Taiwan is the best place to move to. I’m Swedish, and over the last 30 years, I’ve lived in China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan
In fact, Taiwan is a melting pot of cultures and races. Culture from China is just one of them. In addition to the culture of the Han nationality, the culture of the Austronesian peoples and the Japanese culture also occupy an important position. I’m so glad that you like Taiwan. I hope you can always enjoy a good life here.
Taiwan was part of Japan just 4 years before Nationalists escaped to Taiwan in 1949. There were already 6 million people living on the island before that. … Just one case to show that Chinese culture is not Taiwan’s only culture. No more old KMT propaganda plz.
Taiwan is indeed a vibrant place with captivating attractions and rich culture. In addition to its natural beauty, it boasts history, culture, delectable cuisine, and friendly people.
lmao stop, yes we all very proud of our culture of 檳榔西施. also half the people coming here probably dont know the difference between thailand and taiwan
@@ericchen9438 Some fucking Chinese people ( living in Taiwan ) always hate hearing someone praise Taiwan, they love China, yet they just don't want to go back to China to be a real fucking Chinese.
I feel the "Green" of Hehuanshan is different from other mountains in Taiwan.🥰 And really impressive of that you could still talk without losing breath at high latitudes! By the way, hope you are healthy during the journey.
I’m so glad to see you guys went to Hehuanshan! I can totally understand how cold it is at the North Peak campsite. The first time I went there, I also camped up there. It was freezing cold at midnight. Luckily I survived too!😂 Taitung and Hualien are beautiful places with stunning seas. I highly recommend visiting them too.🎉 Taroko National Park was damaged by earthquake and typhoon. Now it is still recovering. Please come to Taiwan next time when it has recovered. The views are also amazing.
Again. Just love the way you tell your stories. :D It's just so annoyingly always on beat good... thnx for giving us something to ease into the weekend with! Hope the cold went away and that it didn't mutate into a second round for Oskar...
This is too beautiful to watch! 🥹 People who love the nature and enjoy the solitude like you guys are also beautiful. There’re 6 tops to be passed before reaching the west peak. My cousin and I only reached the 2nd or 3rd , and we decided to have the instant noodles on the hill and then turn back lol. (She brought hot water in her tumbler in advance and it worked haha).
Flora, ur film is really poetic and the quality of image is magnificent! I feel like I am watching some sort of documentary in National Geographic channel! To me the most amazing peak among 100 peaks is Mt. Qilai South Peak & Mt. Nanhua, I would highly recommend it.
Thanks for sharing. You may have had a little bit of mountain sickness. Luckily it didn't get worse. What's lucky for you is that the weather was good so the view was great.
Actually, camping there is illegal in Taiwan and could be fined 1500NTD. However, even though if you were caught camping there, you wouldn’t have been fined since you’re foreigners🤣. And because it’s illegal, few people have the experience of camping beside the Hehuan North Peak trail and enjoy both the sunrise and sunset.
It definitely annoying for foreigners to trek in Taiwan because when accidents take place in mountains, people always blame the government. So lots of regulations and rules are established to restrain hikers. You’re lucky this time for not being bothered by these rules. Good luck on your journey around the world~
there's a funny statement in Taiwan: It is rude for Taiwanese if your friend doesn't gain 5 kg at least during the trip in Taiwan. that's why we share foods to the people we meet.

I think that if the government temporarily closes a mountain climbing route because it deems it dangerous, we should not enter without permission just because we think it is safe. What if something dangerous happens? As public figures, we should set a good example. The above is my opinion.

正確的判斷。
一定要衡量好自己的狀態,即便是大家以為容易的合歡山,都發生幾次令人遺憾的山難,因為北峰尤其西峰並不容易,主要山難都是發生在這兩座山峰的路線上。
As a Taiwanese, I've never hiked any of the 100 Peaks (百岳) at all. You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the spectacular contents!
Maybe one day! 😉 thank you, it means a lot 🙏

What a shame you didn't have the mood to enjoy the Milkyway on the Hehuan Montain. Hehuan Montain is the best place in Taiwan for star gazing!

I admire your determination eventhough you were sick. Could have taken an extra day to recover before putting yourself through this
合歡山區整個是不能露營,當然也包括合歡西北峰這個地方。
Camping is not allowed in the entire hehuanshan mountainous area, including the north peak and west peak of hehuanshan.

ruclips.net/video/FlZ1C_CqCXM/видео.htmlsi=f-0k3x6m04awHUcc
但某些中海拔難以到達的山,難度可能更高。
