It is not recommended for this engine. Doing so definitely is a good practise tho……because it only seals compression and not oil and antifreeze I wouldn’t bother.

Hey i was wondering if after running the engine for a while if you need to retorque the head bolts?

I would not recommend any thread glue for the bolts on this engine. None of the threaded holes go into a fluid so sealing isn't a problem.
