Smallfish here. Mining community content idea: Minimum requirements/ cheapest rig build possible competition including used hardware, shipping, pool fees etc.
This would be so fun. But it would have to focus on algorithm, hashrate, efficiency, and overall cleanliness/wire management. I'll gladly judge since I'm last place on wire management lol.

I had a similar issue with the display not working. I ended up plugging it in through a VGA port to the mobo instead of HDMI and it worked.
4:11 fun fact -> Cooler Master is one of the few brands that have their own factory and they produce most of AMD's (and intel's) standardized cooling solutions

I think 20 series are good for flux than 30 series
Literally just got done putting together a rig for flux of my own and spent much of the night fighting with it. I'm not sure why Hiveos seems to be weird with some IGPUs and APUs but I guess it wasn't just a fluke.

2. Regarding card not recognise, since the MB is lanes limited controller, so i think your comment will help a lot of new miners that have issues using more then 5 cards, thanks for that

I really like your videos. You're doing a great job. So I have never tried but your using both the HP PSU and the a standard PSU. Is the standard PSU only used to power the MB and the risers and the HP for the power just for the GPU's?
Parallel Miner provides a breakout board (ZSX) that provides a PICO connector, which allows one to exclusively use the server PSU. I have recently switched to this set up and really like it.
@@stopandthinkaboutit8636 Thanks, I had a bunch of PSU that were 110 and came out of hard case mining rigs that I had converted to 220. No break out board needed. Thanks for the inspiration Hobbyist. Just never realized powering PCIE cards off mother board PSU and GPU off the pre-wired server PSU.

Hey I have a x6 2060 Flux rig, My cards do 39.5-41.5 Sol with 130 core, 2100 mem, 140power limit :)
The problem is also related to the cpu being a apu with integrated graphics that uses some pcie lanes. probably your 6th card when the integrated graphics was enabled couldnt get a pcie lane there was not enough. WHen you disabled it then you had enough lanes for 6 cards.

is what what to mine saying actually correct, how often do you get to withdraw profits on flux as parallel assets are paid each week and 2 weeks for eth.
I put one of my 3060 ti's on 2miners flux pool at 55 sol/s cause Whattomine said it should make $5.20 a day. I made like $0.86 in 12 hours so I swapped back to eth. I know 2miners doesn't have parallel assets like some pools but was not anticipating such bad payouts. Was pretty disappointed

This got 6 AMD 6000 series cards working without issue on a Z390-P, well except my Asus ROG RX 6600 XT not wanting to be OCed. Might need to bios flash it. Funny enough I was 95% of the way of figuring out the issue on my own from reading Reddit threads.
Check MB bios to enable 4g for 4 cards or more
I increased the pcie timing to get rid of memory errors

@@3y3_ofur_3y3 I'm no noob, I did all the bios settings before even installing the GPUs. The problem was running the system on Intel Graphics.
As for the Asus ROG card, that is a unique issue for the particular card. No other 6000 series card I have has a similar issue. To be fair, I haven't had the time to test it in different configurations so no idea why the ROG card acts like that yet.

I don't really like this kind of coins which are exclusively profitable with a specific series of GPUs, FLUX seems to be mostly profitable using NVIDIA GPUs just like FIRO was when they were using the MTP mining algorithm :(

Memory overclocks do nothing for mining flux. I had mine at +900 all the way to 0 and the hash rate was the same. Power limit for me at 100% compared to 65% was also the same hash rate. Core is only thing that makes any difference at all in hash rate, at least on 3060 and 3060ti lhr cards.

@@3y3_ofur_3y3 +200 core I believe. I stopped mining it because even with parallel assets and the high price of flux it still wasn’t as profitable as ETH. It will take over as the primary mineable coin in the next year but it’s not there yet. It still might be worth it to mine now to accrue more flux to hodl because the price of flux will go up considerably in the next few years but I’d rather mine ETH and then buy flux with that when I want more.
ive been going mad here trying to figure THIS out , if its going slow or realy slow,no idea if my sol hashrate is good. where as my eth hashrate was decent.i thought my overclocks was being worked somewhere else! even when i closed afterburner down it stayed the same,i have a 3090 and 3070 and 1660s and 1660 and it seems bad
i want to stick with it though as in a couple of months eth will be gone anyway, so hopefully will have a good bit of flux by then

How much would it cost to build your exact same rig? Most importantly, how much if you build it, test it, and ship it to me? LOL, I run two businesses that pretty much run me and really want to get into mining but I do not have the knowledge of the hardware and how to put it all together and set it up. The second thing I don't have this time.
