    So Perth sends Melbourne new vehicles? I thought it was the other way around

      Yes, interesting. New Hino trucks going east. And also some type of SUV but I have not been able to determine what brand they are...

      @shiftpigrail spose they come in through Fremantle port but I thought Japan is closer to East coast 🤔

      I guess so, I thought Hino headquarters for Australia was Sydney, dunno. Some of the other new vehicles are Isuzu SUV's and Merc's...

    What's with the passenger car on the head end? Crew quarters for extended run crews?

      Yes, relay working crews operate between Parkeston and Spencer Junction [Port Augusta] for Pacific National crews.
      SCT operate between Adelaide and Perth with relay working.
      The Tronox operates relay between Parkeston and Broken Hill.
      And Aurizon between Parkeston and Spencer Junction, I think.
