- It finally happened! I just installed a Milltek secondary cat delete and resonator delete on my 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe, and it sounds absolutely amazing! Let me know what you think in the comments section below!

Sounds alot better then 98% percent of Mercedes I've heard. I jus never really like the sound they make all that much. It almost sounds like its computer generated idk if that makes sense but that's how I'd describe it. Really love the defuser on the rear tho lol
I agree 100%, and I can't explain it either. Beautiful cars, capable performers, monster power, but there's just something I can't quite put my finger on. It sounds sometimes like the exhaust pipes are 10cm underwater or there's a wet rag stuffed in the pipes, flapping around. It doesn't sound BAD, I just don't understand what it is about MB V8s that make this particular sound.

@@daedalus_20v its the firing order of the engine. Its the same reason Fords performance line of engines have a distinct sound as well.
Are you basing this off of video or real life? AMGs sound incredible in person because microphones can't pick up the low frequencies well.
The ones you hear might also be in comfort mode. I always drive in sports manual and keep the pipes open. But almost every other AMG I see doesn't drive with their pipes open. Comfort mode muffles the sound.

man it cant possibly be bearable on long distances. i have a milltek resonated on my rs6 and it's so loud my head aches if i drive it for more than 2 hours. cant imagine how a decatted non-resonated would sound like

Beautiful sound amazing car, i have the same C 63 in Estate with the PP. and I wish to do the same, I’ve found on eBay: BRAND NEW MILLTEK SPORT STAINLESS STEEL SECONDARY CAT BYPASS PIPES FOR THE MERCEDES C63 AMG I think it’s exactly what you bought right?
Could you help me please with 2 question:
1. The pops in downshifts is just because of the x pipe or you need also to delete the resonator and change the air filter?
2. Do you have a picture of the resonator i don’t know which one it is, please?

The worst thing about having one of these is that you never get to hear what everyone else hears. You enjoy mental inside it but the absolute ludicrous snap crackle and pops need to be heard from outside.

Sounds absolutely incredible man. I’ve got the resonator and secondary cats deleted on my edition 507 too. You replaced them both with straight pipes? I did and our cars sound the same to me. I love the diffuser too man! I got the carbon fiber spoiler not long ago and I’ve gotta get the diffuser soon
