    Hey there Falia and Falia fans! I just wanted to thank Falia for taking the time to review my gun belt. She's an amazing reviewer. Thanks for all the kind comments everyone and I hope you have a prosperous New Year. 8-)

    I just recently ordered a belt and holster combination from Wright Leather Works. I hope that I'm as happy with it as you are the Zach's belt. Thanks for the video, very cool!

    Crossbred belts are great belts too, and go great with the crossbred holsters. Thanks for the info.

    I've recently discovered Dal Tech bullhide belts. They run a bit less than both of yours and also come in the double thick style if chosen. Only two colors, one type of hole, and two selections for spacing. Even sizes only. About 60 bucks delivered. USA made.
    Good video. Planning to order from Zach's this week.

    I bought a belt from Zach for my husband, and it turned out really nice. I felt a little bit gouged on the shipping of it though: I asked for UPS up front, due to unreliable USPS where I live. The invoice for belt and shipping was 95.00 which I agreed to and paid. Then he invoiced me again for 8 dollars more after the belt was en route. He said UPS charged more than anticipated, 21.00 to ship from Georgia to Missouri. So I paid that, too. I've never had that happen before with any other merchant. But anyway, the belt is well made and my husband likes it.

    I own the Kore belt and it's better than my steel core belt. The adjustment range and ease makes this belt well worth the upgrade. Was also surprised to find that kore's poly-core center gave better support than my previous steel core belt, and I don’t have to explain it going through metal detectors.

    Kore makes the best edc / ccw belt for the money. I've used one since it was first released and it is awesome. The design is clean, fit allows for easy OWB or IWB carry with no flex. You have to try it to get how good it is.

    I have the same belt with red thread, right down to the same buckle and number of holes. I love mine. I've been wearing it every day for months.

    • @faliaphotography
      @faliaphotography  10 лет назад

      awesome! How is it holding up for you with every day use? Are there many marks on it? I've been rotating between several belts and really babying my Zach's belt since it's so unique.

    • @Kaihatdiemacht
      @Kaihatdiemacht 10 лет назад

      It's held up well, leather conditioner helps a lot with the little superficial scratches. There are a few marks on it from me leaning against block walls and stuff, but they're barely noticeable. The loop holes are a little damaged from me using a hook style buckle (which was a mistake). I haven't been babying it at all, it's been through everything from snow to changing my oil to rolling around on the concrete with a slightly belligerent person. If it didn't have the red thread I would totally still feel comfortable wearing it to a wedding or a funeral.

    Kore makes the best gun belt ever. It doesn't scream "tactical" and the 1/4" click style adjustments are awesome. Great for IWB holsters and it supports my OWB Glock 23 holster with ease! I give it an "A"

    The bubble thing ya see doesn't hurt anything..it has to do with the lengths of the two pieces of leather...and the fact they're both making the same distance trip
    around yer cute shape when ya wear it. The inside layer may pucker up slightly.
    No big deal. The nicks and dings give you a reason to give the belt a little T. L.. C.
    now and then. That way, it'll last so one of your grand daughters can have a
    nice belt to wear. Nice review, thanks(8-). Nappy 2014 to you and "the kids"

    Damn..... I just ordered a Amerihide belt yesterday after seeing that video. I like the low sheen on the Zach's belt but looks like it marks easy.. with taking my holster on and off the clips may trash it fast. Hope you do a follow up vid after some use to see how it holds up.

    • @faliaphotography
      @faliaphotography  10 лет назад

      I will try to do an update, although I think the Disse Gear belt may hold up a bit better (without marking) since the leather isn't quite as soft.

    do you have a shoulder holster you could recommend?

    • @faliaphotography

      I have a Galco VHS Shoulder Holster for my Ruger LCR revolver and it's very nice - I highly recommend it. That being said, I rarely carry that handgun anymore, and I also don't find shoulder holsters very easy to conceal in general (so I rarely use mine).

    Rookie Question: What is the functional diff between a gun belt and a normal belt?

    • @faliaphotography
      @faliaphotography  10 лет назад +1

      Gun belts are designed to be thick and sturdy enough to carry the weight of a heavy firearm. Normal belts usually aren't as stiff, twist too easily, and bow out with the weight of a gun. I talk about this a bit (and show it) in my video titled "Concealed Carry Gun Belts and Disse Gear Amerihide Belt"

    Forget the color of the stitching. Forget the color and style of the buckle. Forget that it comes in a cloth bag. I can get all that from Zach's website.
    How does it hold up to everyday use with a full size gun? I guess you just don't know!
