I own 2 of the Kore reinforced gun belts in brown and black leather and they are superb. I've had them for about 6 months and the adjustment ability is awesome. Quality is top-notch leather. Truly the best gun belt I've ever had and I've owned a bunch. They are stiff enough to support my S&W 9mm owb and yet comfortable enough so I don't even know I have it on. I wanted a gun belt I could waer around town that didn't look like a gun belt and this belt does the trick. I don't want people to know I am carrying. So i am posting my review on a few of these channels to inform other gun owners of whats all available. I watched a lot of videos before buying myself.
I bought this belt and am very happy with it after wearing it for 2 weeks. Like Sootch, I have a 32 inch waist. I got a call from the company wanting to confirm my size. They said I needed the 36 inch belt. I took their recommendation, and it fits great, works great, and looks great. It's a bargain in every sense.
I actually own 3 KORE gun belts with two different buckle designs and its a great product. I use the leather gun belts for concealed carry and the fabric belt for competition. I intend to give them as gifts to my shooting relatives.
Kore makes the best gun belt ever. It doesn't scream "tactical" and the 1/4" click style adjustments are awesome. Great for IWB holsters and it supports my OWB Glock 23 holster with ease! I give it an "A"
I have a kore gunbelt and its probably my favorite over a Hanks or other similar leather gunbelts. It is very stiff and the allowance of the 1/4" adjustment allows for the comfort you want after carrying all day with such a stiff belt.
A friend of mine showed me his Kore essentials leather gun belt that uses a track instead of holes. I was immediately interested in the practicality of the design, the way it will fit individually and the classy look. So I bought one and it works for multiple styles of dress in daily use - with or without a gun - and when carrying a duty pistol in a duty or range style holster. I would recommend checking out the Kore gun belt.
Ive got one very similar from a gi surplus store, but its has a amish made in the usa stamp on the inside. Very nice belt and only $35..:) holds every holster nice and tight. Guy at store was wearing one and said it would last a life time..
@Liehsc You need to check which product you were looking at. That price is a 3 Belt SOOTCH00 Special. They did start at $40.00 during the introductory special from the MANUFACTURER.
I own 2 KORE gun belts and they're the best gun belts I have ever worn by a very wide margin. The X1 Tactical belt is rigid enough to properly support a full size 1911 in an OWB holster under comfortable tension. My daily CCW is a M&P Shield with a spare mag, both IWB, and the KORE gun belts allows me to carry all day without any discomfort. Most days I wear Jeans and a T-shirt, and I prefer the X1 Tactical belt when in these clothes. For anything less casual I wear the X3 Leather belt. Fit and finish, as with the X3 Leather belt, is exceptional, and both are attractive as well. Cutting the belt to fit and attaching the buckle is an easy task, and adjusting the belt is easier than any belt I've worn in the past, even more so than with prior gun belts. So I would recommend checking out KORE belts for high quality, comfortable gun belts.
Kore makes the best edc / ccw belt for the money. I've used one since it was first released and it is awesome. The design is clean, fit allows for easy OWB or IWB carry with no flex. You have to try it to get how good it is.
He sootch, check out spec ops brand. They have both a nylon bdu belt and a riggers belt on clearance. I just bought them. bdu is $10 and the riggers is $23. I also wanted to say thanks for turning me onto LAPG. I have bought a ton of stuff off their clearance section.
Sootch, After you wear it for a bit, how about a little follow up vid on the comfort. Stiff is good for holstering but sometimes a stiff belt can dig and rub thus being quite uncomfortable.
sootch00, I bought a gun belt out of Apex, NC a while back...it fit for a while but now it just hangs in the closet. I messed up on my size ordering, man! Your info is greatly appreciated, man. Thank you for the post!
Fantastic Belt! I really like that thick leather and how it improves the holster stability. I haven't made a belt from bull leather yet, mostly I use 10oz cowhide. Thanks for the upload, I really like your vids!
Nice belt. Yeah, after I started wearing gun belts, I realized how really flimsy most regular belts are. There are plenty of good American made gun leather and gun belt makers. The price on this one is awesome. The last belt I bought was from Wild Bills Holsters out of NC, its a nice belt but costs $30 more then this one. One thing to remember is that if you are going to use an inside the waistband holster you need to get a belt that is about 4 inches bigger then you would normally use.
Forgot to mention . . . what's up with our belt shrinking? I pulled an old fire department belt out of the storage locker a few weeks ago . . . lo and behold it didn't fit. Clearly it had shrunk although the mechanism is unclear. I had it wrapped in paper away from sunlight and moisture. Perhaps the paper wasn't "acid free archival paper". I am sure that was the problem!
Hey sootch, what gives I tell ya, what gives? Went to battle boy and the belt is $69.99. Might still get it, but nicer at 40, you have the power to make prices go up, supply and demand
That's fair, honestly, I'd forgotten all about that interaction with that fellow. Apparently I was in a really bad mood LOL Anyway, glad you found my comment helpful.
@stevensrsp No crossbreed does NOT make a belt like this for cheaper, crossbreed makes a DIFFERENT style of belt with DIFFERENT material, that being regular leather instead of bull leather.
The Arizona Senate has approved legislation that would make Arizona the third state allowing people to carry concealed weapons without a permit. The Senate approved the measure on a 20-10 vote Monday. The House delayed a planned vote. The legislation would make it legal for any U.S. citizen 21 or older to carry a concealed weapon in Arizona without the permit now required. If this passes, I'm moving to Arizona, to hangout with McCain. Thanks for the video.
True bull leather is very hard to find. Most bulls are castrated (steers) at an early age so the leather does not thicken. Just because the leather is from a male bovine does not make it true bull leather. Just saying, you need to ask questions before you but a Bull Leather Gun Belt.
Are you stupid? Bull and steer leather is the same shit man. You really don't know much abt cows in general do ya? Male cows hide is always thicker regardless if they're casterated or not
Gun or no gun (no gun in the People's Republic of Kanada :( ), that is one of those belts you can give to your son when you're too old and fat to wear it ;) I had one like that from my dad - his army belt, and I thought it was the coolest thing on Earth. And it was not nearly as nice as these! Cool vid as always.
I have a Bullhide gun belt that I do like. I chose one that was a little too thick, so the buckle is rather bulky meaning if I try to appendix carry it looked like I put a book in the front of my pants. I would also put a coating on the screws, as they came loose at one point. Overall I do still really like the belt, it has a classic quality feel.
HAHAHAHAHA, my dad would have still found a way to break that damn thing off on me. People always over look the belt. Without a good belt the best gun and holster can be useless. I'll be gett'n one soon. As much as I carry I break in belts w/ a quickness. 5*****'s Sootch keep'm coming.
Price skyrocketed nothing special on the prices anymore. I understand this video is olders, but come on it went through the roof. I refuse to pay that kind of price and will just make my own since I work with leather anyways and put some nice tooling into it.
Stitching two pieces of leather together keeps the belt from warping in the back with wear. 2 -1/8'' pieces sewn and glued together is far superior to a single 1/4'' thickness.
Kore makes the best gun belt ever. It doesn't scream "tactical" and the 1/4" click style adjustments are awesome. Great for IWB holsters and it supports my OWB Glock 23 holster with ease! I give it an "A"

I have had mine for about a Month now and love mine. Well worth my money spent. I will be buying from them again. Thanks sootch!

I have been wearing a Uncle Mike's Reinforced Holster Belt as my everyday belt. Except for the lack of a little money pocket, I LOVE IT!
Kore makes the best gun belt ever. It doesn't scream "tactical" and the 1/4" click style adjustments are awesome. Great for IWB holsters and it supports my OWB Glock 23 holster with ease! I give it an "A"

Look how young Sootch looks.
Still relevant today.
I bet the belt still looks great. 👍

Just went to order this Don and the sale is over. Should have jumped on it the first time I watched this.Great reviews my friend.

Haha. If you're over 80" you need to go on a serious diet. I laughed out loud! Love watching your videos Sootch.
I got a Kore gun belt and its Outstanding. Now I just have to figure out what to do with all the other brand belts that didn’t cut it.
sootch00, I bought a gun belt out of Apex, NC a while back...it fit for a while but now it just hangs in the closet. I messed up on my size ordering, man! Your info is greatly appreciated, man. Thank you for the post!

LOL, my 10 year old belts have shrunk, too! What's up with that?
Nice vids! Thanks again for your pearls of wisdom!!
I'm about to find out about all the hype on these belts sootch talks about. Of course I ordered it direct from them.
Sootch - great review as always . . . and a bit of humor to boot. Good stuff and a solid recommendation!

Great job Don as usual.I thought I was the only one with shrinkng belts it's amazing.LOL! 5*s I have to get one of those. Thanks.
That's the price for a 3 pack combo of all three colors of belts, the individual belts sell for around $70 apiece.
Forgot to mention . . . what's up with our belt shrinking? I pulled an old fire department belt out of the storage locker a few weeks ago . . . lo and behold it didn't fit. I might have to pick one of these up, I'm a 32" waist as well.
That belt is magic.
5/5
Thanks for the review. I just happen to be in the market for a new pistol belt.
That's fair, honestly, I'd forgotten all about that interaction with that fellow. Apparently I was in a really bad mood LOL
Anyway, glad you found my comment helpful.

As always, another great video from sootch00. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the review Scootch...how does it compare to The Beltman's craftsmanship? I'm torn between the two

Great belt. $199.99 is a lot steep though. Think I'll buy local for half that from the Belt Man.
Zero belts listed for sale on website in 2017.
I cant picture a piece wearing and not fitting. Yeah. Funny how things get cheaper made all the time.
Interesting vid. TY
As always great reviews!

Bull hide leather is better than using two pieces of tool leather and sewing it together.A 1/4 inch thick piece of bull leather can't be beat.
Shrinks belts . I know what you mean . LOL

Bad review....way over rated belt.
That was for three belts, not one
Kore makes the best gun belt ever. It doesn't scream "tactical" and the 1/4" click style adjustments are awesome. Great for IWB holsters and it supports my OWB Glock 23 holster with ease! I give it an "A"
Sootch,
After you wear it for a bit, how about a little follow up vid on the comfort. Stiff is good for holstering but sometimes a stiff belt can dig and rub thus being quite uncomfortable.
