  • U.S. authorities are now urging Americans to avoid travel to six Mexico states due to an ongoing threat of cartel violence and kidnapping there. The new advisory comes as spring breakers plan their next beach getaway and following the deadly incident involving four Americans mistakenly targeted by cartel gunmen. There's an urban criminal class in America, who's crimes get " classified" as random,( but how is it " random " when 6 percent of population commit over 50 percent of the crime?). Avoid those areas and America is also very safe, especially " red state " areas. Democrat cities, like Baltimore, Chicago, Minneapolis are ROUGH.

If you go to Mexico for medical reasons and stay with your plan you will be fine. Ive been many times. I never drive my vehicle over. Park at pay lot and walk across. You immediately get a taxi to where your going. The worst that could happen is youll be approached by beggars or the lines are over crowded. Never go on a Friday. Truth is, the dental savings are tremendous and the treatment is fantastic.

My fellow Americans …. I’m in Texas and I used to go to Mexico a lot for spring break Years back , I was at Carlos and Charlie’s I think is what the bar was called and this was in Cancun or Cozumel, it’s been a while with two other girls and thank goodness I am the one person that didn’t drink. Both of the girls that I was with were drugged in their drinks . Thank God I had met some Canadian guys earlier that day who happen to be in the bar on the other side as they were by the dance floor and we were up at the bar and the guys happened be staying in our hotel.. both girls started passing out, and the Mexican men around them started trying to pick them up and carry them out. If I would not have been there to alert the Canadian guys, I could not have handled this just by myself. We barely could get the Mexicans away from them and barely got them in a taxi and out of the grips of the Mexicans, and finally got them back into the hotel, which the hotel was safe at the time. Another time we were in Puerto Vallarta, and we had gone to a party one night, which was up in the mountains/jungles and we had taken a jeep up there in the Mexican federales saw us and they came after us. We were not doing anything, we weren’t drinking, but they saw that we were too blonde young women, and there were probably 10 Mexican federales on that truck . I knew if they caught us we were in so much trouble and that is if we even lived through it. We ditch the jeep on top of the mountains up there and started out on foot and it took us hours and hours and into the next day to escape the Mexican federales and get back into the hotel. My friend that was with me was so upset that she flew back to Texas the next day. The only thing we had to guide us was a video camera and we were using the light at night and the way the video cameras were set up back then it was just easier to put a button on that would turn everything on , so I actually have footage of this when I was trying to escape down the jungle.

Staying in United States is way safer. But even compared to developed countries, USA is not that safe. For a safe English speaking nation, seek Europe. If you want the safest developed country to travel but not worry about language, go to Japan or South Korea.

My wife and I relocated to Morelia, Michoacan almost three years ago. She's a Mexican citizen and I'm from Reno, Nevada. I've never been made to feel unwelcome, and have NEVER been approached or victimized by ANY crime in Mexico. The culture, the people, architecture, lack of stress, and of course the food, are strong arguments for life in Mexico. Like anywhere in the world, if you look for trouble, you can find it. It was certainly the best move I've ever made.
