Now this was comedy at its very best 👌 👍 😍 🥰
Plenty of innuendo and hidden swearing. Amsterdam Rotterdam Givadam, Panther Pilsner Beer, the scene where Curly is popping gum and giving the finger.
I'll never forget the smiles and laughter this episode did when I shared it with my 4th grade class in 1988 i Ohio it was Friday and my class understood the jokes and humor 3 Stooges were comic masters.
It's an all time favorite! Every time I grill hot dogs I say " A hot one!"
That's the classic Larry, cooking sausages instead of heating rivets.:)
The Stooges are the best I’ve been watching them since I was old enough to kinda understand words I’m 54 now getting closer to 55. My dad watched them to.

I think this is one their best episodes.
In the scene in which Curly is hit on the head with a rubber hammer when he is stuck in the sweater if you look closely, Larry cracks up and laughs at the last BONK! on Curly's head. When Curly says, "Don't mind ME! DON'T MIND ME!!" He stares up at Moe, which Moe starts to crack up as well, and hides his face from the camera. Then the scene is cut to a close-up.
A sequence with Chuck Hamilton and Lucille Lund as a husband and wife was cut before general release.

How High Is Up? is honestly another dud in my opinion. The opening gag is a decent start, but I have many problems with this short. For starters, I find that the sweater scene drags on and on with an unfortunate resolution. Also, the trio's method for finding work really puts them in a bad light. Once we finally get to the construction site, it picks up a bit, although not too much stands out to me in a major way, and the conclusion is rather unmemorable. This short is very light on story, which isn't automatically a problem, but when that's the case, it had better deliver on the gags on a consistent basis, and this short just doesn't do it for me. It's not a bad short by any means, but it ranks pretty low for me.

Sometimes funny, rarely laugh out loud funny, not as funny as their contemporaries then or similar acts before or since; funnier than the Marx Brothers but more for kids than adults really.
