Utterly timeless, never fails to have me crying with laughter. They're incredibly special and their work needs to live on forever. We put some of the films on for my friend's 10 year old son and he absolutely adored it. In this age, that's saying something.

When they came in my country in 1950, crowds went literally crazy and the welcome that the two gentlemen received from the common people was something huge and totally unexpected from them. They were masters of their trade. Almost 100 years on and they're still the best comedy duo ever. What I find really sad, is that despite them making films in an era before TV and so surely their films were box office attractions, they both lived quite simple lives and were never very rich from their work, in fact they had very little relative wealth compared to entertainers of today who earn many millions for one film. Somebody made a lot of money off of them, but not themselves. They both died not poor per se, but with minimal assets as far as I'm aware. Very sad.

I fell in love with Laurel and Hardy as a yoing kid in the early 1950s. I never tire of them. Their humor transcends time.
