    Stan wrote this in late January, 1929 and they filmed it between Feb. 5 and Feb. 9. Pretty amazing.

    Brilliant! It's been years since I've seen this Silent "short" film! Stan and Ollie looked amazing in those uniforms. The rest of the people within the hotel looked so very elegant. Many thanks, Laurel and Hardy, for posting this hilarious celluloid jewel!

    Brilliant Laurel & Hardy movie from the era of silent cinema. I like that L & H exit the scene unscathed at the end, oblivious to the chaos they've caused.

    Oliver Hardy having a mean streak in this one. The way he stole Stan's money. Later his character would become more polished.

    Bad picture quality. Only 360p! You can´t see all the details! A pity!
    Couldn´t you fix better quality in the restauration process in 1995?

    THIS FILM WITH OLIVER NORVEL HARDY AND STAN LAUREL WERE FUNNY COMEDY ACTORS BUT WHY IS THIS BLACK AND WHITE FILM DOES NOT HAVE SOUND IN IT ?

    • @garyolsen3409
      @garyolsen3409 Год назад +11

      It's called a silent picture made before sound was invented.

      Are you serious? Talkies didn't come out until 1927.Even then, some studios didn't adopt sound until later. Why all the capital letters?
