Loved them all my life, and now, aged 87, still do. My daughter bought me a boxed set containing 21 dvds which get played regularly. In fact. I am watching a silent one right now, "Two Tars". This was made in 1928 and is even older thank me! Best wishes to all Stan and Ollie fans. England, January, 2024.
Same here fellow, of course we all know just how pompous Ollie can be (because of the talkies) so we know what to expect, they simply are the best comedy ever,I also live in England,,but only 65
I’m 53 and I’ve watched them my whole life since I came across them on Sunday morning TV in the early 80s. Now my 5 year old is beginning to watch with me, and he’s starting to find it funny… I’m hoping he gets into it too. He could still be watching them in 2075… an amazing 150 years after they were actively filming.
atta boy Ron! im so glad you are still with us, been a couple years since i saw a post from you.... cheers old son from a fellow vintage film fan! black and white films rule! 🎬🎥🥂🧓

@@eeddieedwards3890 I stand by what I wrote! I was in the navy, but I sure didn't serve! "You got a bad attitude, Lewis!" was something I heard from 1973 to 1979 when I got out. Cheers!
BIEN COMPRI
This is not the "...original 1928 music and sound effects track." This is the music score and video edition I produced for Turner Classic Movies. Please do not spread misinformation, and please ask for permission to use material that is not your own.
I have the entire dvd box set of Laurel and Hardy that came in a holiday briefcase with photos on and still love watching them , just as I love Abbot and Costello , infact the classics are often better than the modern stuff which TRIES to be funny , but just isnt.

My grandmother was 10 years old and loved these movies.
Magnifici😊
At 80 years old, this has remained my favorite comedy. Like ripples the destruction spreads. As fresh now, as when I first saw it.
I'm 82 and ha e watched them all my life. There are no two other people to match them. Stan was a genius.
I've seen many Laurel & Hardy films but this one was new to me... loved it.. :)
Just love seeing the dawn of automotive boom, and old motorcycles in all these old films.
I loved this one growing up even tho it wasnt a talky lol 😆 thanks!🙏
atta boy. its encouraging to us seniors when we see young folks interested in the films of our bygone days. 🙏

Absolutely brilliant 😂
My parents turned 12 years old in 1928😊
Ageless comedy heros..
The car Laurel and Hardy drive is, as usual, a Ford model T, in this case a Roadster. Behind them is a 1921 Buick Roadster.
what is the bike
Genios 😂
As a naval veteran, this is a typical shore leave.
I crossed a cop with a sailor and got a "Fuzzy Naval".

Whenever I depressed I used to watch their movies.
They performed innocently and faithfully to their task but....

My favourite but at 18 mins in what is the tune played we sang this going to Wembley
It's an American Civil War song called Tramp, Tramp, Tramp. ("Tramp, tramp, tramp, the boys are mar-ching....")

Jeez, the cars are gimmicked to be deformed for comedy effects.
