This is 97 years old ...
and yet it is better and funnier than 97% of the crap what is made in Hollywood today !
One of their greatest early films.
Certainly one of the simpliest and funniest of their production.
As Stan was already a star, he was used to having large crowds gathering around him during filming. This film marked the first time a crowd gathered round to see Ollie, now a star, officially teamed with Stan for the first time in this film.
Laurel and Hardy look younger in this short film. This was their first film as a comedy duo.
That's not true.
They were great!!!
Wow wow ❤🎉
The truly bizarre part of this film is that Ollie is playing Stan's uncle, in spite of the fact that Stan is 2 years older than him in real life.
Hi thank you nice Classic Comedy.

My favourite Laurel and Hardy short. With this movie they matched the great Charlie Chaplin .
Marilyn scene years later of sidewalk grating blows dress upward.
