Glad to know there’s people who still love the classic cartoons. These were cartoons generations grew up with and always enjoyed.
Modern cartoons (though some are great) can’t hold a candle to these.

I watched stuff like this in the 80s. Born 1984. I loved the stuff Tex Averry' Chuck Jones and all those great and crazy mindes cooked up. It was fresh from the comedey oven.

Born in 84, raised on military bases, grew up to Droopy, Bugs, Daffy, and Sylvester the cat, along with Mystery Inc. and company. Cartoons back then we're a far cry from today. Truly funny and impactful with a motto for every episode and a lesson to learn.

Looney toons and such are cartoons from the 40's through late 70's, and at the time I was a child watching cartoons, most where things like Transformers, TMNT, and so on. I only mentioned my growing up military to emphasize the fact I grew up on older shows and not newer ones. Some of my best friends with 'normal' childhoods didn't know who Bugs and Daffy were, and only knew Scooby-Doo from the late 90's What's new Scooby-Doo.
It was only meant to explain my experience with older cartoons.

I never understood why in two separate cartons me was referred to as McPoodle or Droopy Poodle. There is such a thing as a Basset Hound-Poodle mix, but he clearly is not a Poodle. I guess the creators just thought it was funny.

Racing, Figure Skating, or any form of endeavor. Butch never fails to make an ass of himself. Droopy wins so easily the game is over before kickoff!! Even the Coyote of Warner Brothers legend isnt as hapless an adversary as "BUTCH THE BOOB." The more he cheats, the more he gets beat. A beautiful morality play in a six minute cartoon. Butch is so evil that if he spontaneously caught fire, no one would bat an eye or shed a tear. Just a fabulous animated classic.
