Hey! Great praise for your really interesting reviews. It's fun to watch your videos. You have a pleasant, relaxed manner. What I find particularly good is that you don't report superficially about the products but also delve deeply into the matter - as for example with the Razer: You show your EQ settings and, in my opinion, are one of the few RUclips to go into the accentuated bass and the fuller body. To me as a viewer, this suggests that you are really concerned with the products and that your statements can be trusted. It was important for me to share this and I would like to praise you for it. Keep it up, because quality in reporting pays off in the end! I am already looking forward to more videos. Many greetings from Germany ✌️ BTW: I also have the V2 Pro and have lowered the low frequencies (bass/midbass) compared to the mids/trebles and it really is a great wireless gaming headset which also works optimally for competition.
I had the cloud alpha and bought the blackshark v2 pro because of techne's review and, after tweaking the blackshark with the equalizer, the result was that the blackshark sounded better than the alphas + were more comfortable. So I guess that when you tweak the blackshark v2 pro, how you like the sound best, the blackshark v2 will probably also win soundwise against the cloud2 wireless. And the blackshark's are really much more comfortable than the cloud alphas. I can only recommend the blackshark v2 pros.

A fair review. I still will buy the hyperX ones though. I have gone trough several razer products, and my personal experience has taught me that they only last as long as the warranty holds. My hyperX products have lasted me three to four times as long. Before I had HyperX headphones, I went trough gaming headsets like pair/year, as well as gaming mice, which included razer products. My HyperX gaming headset came along and lasted me 6 years of everyday use, and just recently gave up its life on the line of duty. I am not one to throw/abuse my gear around, but I dont go out of my way to treat them as fragile little flowers either. I dont pack them up in individual cases, I throw them in a bag with rest of my gear when going to a Local Area Network game party at my friends place, or when I need to transport them. This is just my personal experience about the durability of HyperX products, and it should be taken with a grain of salt, but I hope this comment gives context or perspective to a person who looks to buy new headphones

I honestly don't know what your gripe is with THX Spatial audio 7.1.. I just got the Razer BlackShark V2 and I can honestly say it's a night and day difference in sound. I can hear things to the left, right, 11 o'clock, 6 o'clock and the sound separation is so detailed and accurate, I can honestly say my gaming skills have improved by at least 5% alone and I've even beat some missions on Ace Combat 7 with these headphones. Razer has knocked it out of the park with these headphones, whether you get the wired or wireless version, it's a win!
If you use them for example not on windows (but on linux, consoles etc.), you seldom get any software. All you gonna get are the hardware controls on the headset out of the box. Now does that change your decision? For my old clouds I never even installed the software because I knew from the beginning that their software is always way to simplistic to even bother. But on the other hand those clouds give me the option to choose between external sound card + USB connection or 3.5mm connection. More versatile for a wired headset with a comfy fit and a passable mic. I would love to see a comparison for nostalgic reasons, but I think people seeking advice would prefer to see which features are carrying over to other platforms/environments.
Hello, I bought the blackshark v2 pro, I wanted to know how you found the spatialization (Without the THX mode)? Because I personally have a lot of trouble telling the difference between the sound in front and behind (compared to my old headphones, Logitech g pro x or Hyper x cloud 2)

The problem I had with cloud 2 is the footsteps are too loud. Like a guy is shooting from another the building and one guy is in the next room both sounds has the same level of depth (I’m not talking about just the loudness) but with blackshark V2 the loudness and depth is not as great hyperx cloud 2 but you can still hear both guy shooting and it’s just feels more natural. Like you can also hear the guy shooting from another building but it doesn’t have as much as depth as the guy shooting from another room. What I’m trying to say is if you want to hear everything more louder and more accurately go for the hyperx cloud 2 since it would give you an competitive advantage out of the box. But if you want more balanced experienced where you can still hear everything go for the blackshark V2 . Again I’m only suggesting it just for video games (competitive shooters mostly)
Havent used baracudda x personally.. hyperx cloud is almost always value for money though. watch some videos on both on them . choose for yourself. goodluck man

Nice, been waiting for a review like this. Are you gonna review the razer huntsman v2 analog by any chance? Would love to hear your opinion
I would love to see a comparison for nostalgic reasons, but I think people seeking advice would prefer to see which features are carrying over to other platforms/environments.
just bought my blacksharks for 129.00 on Amazon.. question can you get the earpads you advertised wicked? for the blacksharks? thanks.
Hello, I bought the blackshark v2 pro, I wanted to know how you found the spatialization (Without the THX mode)? Because I personally have a lot of trouble telling the difference between the sound in front and behind (compared to my old headphones, Logitech g pro x or Hyper x cloud 2)
I´m between a Razer BlackShark V2 (or V2x for that mic) and a Steelseries arctis 5 ¿What would you recommend? I game on PC and Xbox and want a headset compatible with both.
Which one would you choose over cloud 2 wireless or arctis 7p or arctis pro without dac or blackshark
What should but for single player ? Hyperx cloud 2 ,Razer V2 pro od maybe SteelSeries 7p/9?
What would you prefer cloud 2's or flights if going with hyper x wireless?
any luck?
Outro is stinkin cozy it's make you a real hero
And my Blackshark v2 pro wireless is coming tomorrow ! I hope it will make me glad !
Do you plan on reviewing the new Xbox wireless headset from Microsoft when it release? Want to know if it’s worth it or if I should just buy the Kaira instead.
I'm having a hard time choosing between these 2 to upgrade from my nari essential headset for better comfort etc. :)
How is the Mac support on the Blackshark V2 Pro? I know the software isn't on Mac, but if you configure it on Windows, do the settings save to the headset, so that when you plug it to a Mac it's the same sound profile and mic sound? Specifically wireless
Btw the HyperX Ngenuity software is NOT available on Apple/Imac
Can you do a Comparison, Logitech g pro x wireless and the hyperx cloud 2 wireless? I'm debating between them.
I was also wondering which of the 2 i would buy but I just bought the hyperx, i have the wired hyperx 2s rn so and im so happy with them so ofc I had to buy the wireless ones
FINALLY the comparison I've been looking for. Thank you!
The sound quality section is interesting. I don't quite get what you mean by "body" when referring to the BlackShark - do you mean detail?
Warmth. Basically it’s the bad kind of bass that drowns out your mids and makes them sound ironically bright or trebly.
good job man another amazing review.I would like to see a cloud 2 wireless comparison with arctis 7p/7 because a lot of people are between these two
why are you still using maximilianmus's profile picture after all the scummy stuff he had done
which one you choose?
I bought the arctis 7p and used them on ps5 and pc. They have been good not great for sound but for some reason there is lag with sound thus I'm looking at reviews for a new headset. It may just be mine which was bought last November when I got my ps5
Also, to note I have the hyperx he reviewed here and they are freaking awesome. I'm just considering the Razer thus I am watching this specific video
Still waiting for black shark v2 pro vs Logitech g pro wireless. Please techne I still don’t have an answer for this lol.
I have v2 pro, incredible
@@DarkAlbino how are those side wires?
@@cl1ckrr completely fine I use this on my phone pc and xbox, audios good on xbox with the cable too, although I do have dolby atmos, the side wires you dont even notice, also I haven't really noticed any slipping in the brackets, using the dongle for sound aswell it's very good, some people say the bass is slightly underwhelming wirelessly but I wholehearted disagree, well worth the 160 I spent
@@DarkAlbino damn sounds like a good one. have you tried using the dongle with your phone using an otg cable? ive heard that it works from some people.
@@cl1ckrr no need to I'm good with the cable mostly music too
Man you've grown good stuff!
Thank you for the great, unbiased and detailed reviews! You’re honestly one of the best tech reviewers.
How come your comment didn't get a heart?
Something that you should have mentioned is that Razer Synapse's sidetone feature DOESNT WORK. There is no sidetone in the headset and its a problem with synapse not the headset itself. Not sure if the hyper is doing it as well but Im orering a pair to see what happens.
should I get a Logitech g prox headset or a hyperx cloud 2 wireless
imo hyperx is more durable, but the gprox would sound better with a better mic
hmmm, I would go cloud 2 wireless. The logitech does have more adjustability in the software
@@TheTechne yessss
What headset would you recommend for the ps5 besides the arctis 7 since there sold out ...
Greetings,
I have been trying to find this out and have very contradictory answers so I am looking for real answers. Does the razer black shark v2 pro eq and mic monitoring work on ps5? Some people have said that if you enable them on pc it will carry over to PS5, some people say it does not. So any help with this would be greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Redragon h510 zeus, jbl quantum 100 with detachable mic or razer kraken x?
the quantum 100s is priced at $30, the redragon is priced at $39 and the razer is $43
Hey @The Techne, I bought hyperx cloud 2 wireless, and... The white noise while is nothing coming out of the headphones is mad. Do you find this problem also? I contacted the support, and they told me that is normall with wireless headsets (which obviously isnt true).
i dnt have white noise issues with my pair
I game on PS4 pro console & plan on upgrading to PS5 eventually, I am torn between these 2 headsets. I'm leaning towards the V2 pro for the memory foam ear cushions as the leatherette tends to get HOT. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙏
What did you end up with? (:
@@decoyloony4121 I went with the razer black shark BE pro & I'm Soo happy with my decision! It's the got excellent sound quality & it's extremely comfortable! Happy gaming ✌️
@@CARLGULA Nice to hear and thanks for taking your time to reply! I just ordered them and im so stoked for an upgrade! Happy gaming brother✌🏼
Do you have to use both 3.5 jacks to use the mic and headset or is it enough to use one
should i change my GSP550 for a blackshark v2? is the sound gonna be as good as the gsp 550
How do these both compare to mh752 in terms of fit/comfort? I like how much you can extend the mh751/752 since i have a large head. Anything smaller might feel uncomfortable over hours of use.
Thank you so much for these video. I am looking for a wireless gaming headset with a lot of features and ı got so many options to choose. These two are included.
Interested on your thoughts with the hyperx cloud flight s vs blackshark v2 pro wireless.
Are there any connection issues on the Hypers? I have the wired version but am wanting to get rid of all my cables/DAC, wires etc)
Again I’m only suggesting it just for video games (competitive shooters mostly)
which would you prefer the razer baraccuda x or hyperx cloud 2 wirless.
unfortunatly the blackshark is much more expensive here.
Havent used baracudda x personally.. hyperx cloud is almost always value for money though. watch some videos on both on them . choose for yourself. goodluck man
The video the streets been waiting for
We all actually know thats not the case... :(
Which one is better black shark v2 pro or hyper X cloud3?
Haven't used the wireless cloud 2s but have the wired set and their sound is far superior for multiple uses. V2 are very good for gaming but I need something good for gaming AND music and the cloud 2s meet those needs.
You’ can’t say something is far superior to something else before you try both. Otherwise it’s just your opinion
@@TheJustPull5641 I stated that the wired pair was far superior to the V2s and I had tried them both before I decided on keeping the SUPERIOR clouds. So yes, I CAN say it and did.
@@seoulreaperinc9282 did you ever try the logitech g pro x
@@tayk_action1019 No, I haven't. I've been happy with the sets I have currently so never really felt the need to venture out to other sets.

the thumbnail is sick! great work.
You should check out some in ear monitors and try them out for gaming, some have really good sound for a low price and they can actually be a great option if you don’t like over-ears
Cant find any comparison on the Cloud flight S vs the Blackshark v2/v2 pro. Right now I have the original Flight but it having issues so I wanna replace them. What would you grab out of those two?
Same accept I have the hyperx alphas but want to go wireless. Tried the cloud 2 wireless but after 2 hours of gaming my ear hurt pretty good.
Love the videos man! Got a question for a guy with a bigger head which one of these would you recommend?
blacksharks
Amazing video and new thumbnail style!!!!
just a little mix up, old style not going away :)
Does the settings on the blackshark carry over to PlayStation?
The best earphone for all pc games will be this headphone, earphone, Razer v2x, Logitech g333, Razer Hammerhead, HyperX Cloud Earbuds II under 4k. how to purchase sir
Hi Techne love your vids btw, im planning to buy a headset and 2 decent options i have are the blackshark v2 and hyper cloud 2(both wired). And for the price what is more worth? like using it to listen to music gaming overall usability in an everyday use.
I personally recommend the cloud 2, I've been using them for 2 years and I had no problem. They are cheaper but in terms of quality way better than the blackshark 2!
Hyperx any day
can you compare arctis 7 vs razer blackshark v2 pro?
You literally read my mind , love it !
