- I've quickly realized that there are certain perks to living in New Orleans, Louisiana. One of the biggest ones is being able to witness the legendary NOLA sludge scene firsthand. Case in point, Down had to cancel a show the other week and due to this predicament chose to play a pop-up show with only two days' notice. If I was anywhere else in the US, I would have missed the chance to see one of my favorite sludge bands perform live in their hometown. No where else can you experience this! Here's a recap of one of my favorite recent shows! Bring your own beer, but the mosh will definitely be provided!
Of course, I don't own the music and I want all credit going to the opening band Nest! They killed it and I've been enjoying their latest album "Endeavors" which I will link below!

NOLA is one of my all time favorite albums. Got into more punk so kinda wasn’t DOWN for a min. But then I got Diary of a Mad Band. Live dvd/cd combo thing for their reunion later on, also got Cannibal Corpse “Eviseration Plague” same trip to Best Buy. So yea just had dvd or cd on repeat for like 3 months straight! 🤘🏾😈
Oh and love the FULCI shirt! Also one of my favs! 🧟♂️

@@jamesgwarrior1981 likewise! For me though after Down I kept diving into the sludge rabbit hole. I had to follow the mighty riff wherever it led me! I too got diary of a Mad Band but stupidly sold it. Love both of those DVDs. Thanks for watching James 🍻
