No. It was remastered for the bird. One of the munchkins was suicidal because of the work conditions and hung himself on set. The original actor for the tin man was later replaced due to his reaction to the 'SILVER' paint and dust they used (not aluminum), but to save a buck they still used some of the cuts from a distance so they wouldn't have to re-film them. Further, the burns on the wicked witch occurred at the end when she disappeared resulting from the water being thrown on her...the sulphur dioxide used to cause the fake smoke and sizzling you see in the movie burned her skin and her lungs. Her burns were not caused by fire as stated in this video.

there was actually 2 tin mans that were in the movie but the original one was allergic to the makeup they put on him so they needed a new tin man so when they found another tin man for the movie, they used metallic dust instead of the toxic makeup.
There was only one in the movie. And brother, did you get things mixed up! Buddy Ebsen was not allergic. His was the make-up that used the aluminum powder, and that is what got into his lungs and kicked off a bronchial condition he'd been born with. When Jack Haley took over the role, they had reformulated the make-up into an aluminum paste. Neither make-up was toxic.

Some bright history, and a wonderful story: Not long after seeing _The Wizard of Oz,_ a little girl named Natalie Norris fell ill and was hospitalized. Her mother wrote to MGM and relayed her daughter's wish that she could get a visit from Dorothy. They called Judy, who was of course delighted to do it, and sent Natalie a letter telling her that they had a date. She wanted to come in full Dorothy kit, but by that time everything had been put away in storage, so Judy wore a simple frock and her own short hair, and Natalie didn't mind a bit. Judy chatted with her a while and even sang "Over the Rainbow" to her, bringing Natalie's mother to tears. Later, Natalie showed rapid improvement, and not only recovered, but later in life became a singer herself!
Interesting fact that the original actor who was supposed to play the Tin man was, Buddy Ebsen! The actor who played Jed Clampett on the Beverly Hillbillies!!!
That is totally untrue. The actor that had an allergic reaction was replaced with a different actor. Just about everything said is a tall tail. This is a reminder to never believe what you see on social media. Take the time and research yourself.
This movie is great 👍 but the more I think of it it actually seems to have been quickly put together and not thought through. Like apparently the actor of dorthy was slapped off camera. Like who would except that and that would also just make the actor look bad on scene...
The thing with the Tin Man actually happened to the FIRST actor who played the Tin Man. That actor was Buddy Ebsen (Jed Clampett of The Beverly Hillbillies) He was so sick and was so fearful of the part that he declined the role and the Tin Man you see in the movie was cast and a different procedure was used for his silver tone appearance than had been used with Buddy Ebsen, which is why the second actor was successful in the role.
Margaret Hamilton was burned. After that she had nothing to do with fire for the rest of filming. But she was the only one who ever stood up for Judy Garland being mistreated. Buddy Ebsen was the first Tin man, who got sick from the silver makeup. He was replaced in the role. He went on later to play Jed Clampett in The Beverly Hillbillies. I didn't know anything happened to any of the munchkins. But the midget males often S-harassed Judy during filming.
It wasn’t a munchkin hanging in the background. It was a prop bird in the background. There was hundreds of people on that movie set. That rumor was started 60 yrs later.

It’s funny that peaceful Minecraft music is playing while there are actors injured
Lol i trying to find a comment like this XD
man it's just sad what they had to go through to make that film
Ik I’m.. scared of that movie tbh
*smh* It was hard work, that's all.
The tin man was recast because of the reaction. The actor that had the reaction was Buddy Ebsen. He later played Jed Clampett on Beverly Hillbillies.
Me: Huh what did you say?! I was too busy vibing to the calm minecraft music in the background😅😅😅
“If you zoom in and look closely you can see a Munkin hanging themself from a tree.....
LIkE aNd FoLloW fOr PaRt TwO!”
Him: **Telling us “scary” facts**
Me: **ignores him and just listens to the Calming Minecraft music**

The og Minecraft song
@2inchGrinch please we all know it's never going to stop.
Bro that ruined my childhood. I LOVED the Wizard of Oz as a kid, I even acted in the play for it for my school! 😭😭
It shouldn't have; it's 99% BS. Besides, nothing ruined the movie for the people who made it; they were very proud of it.
there was actually 2 tin mans that were in the movie but the original one was allergic to the makeup they put on him so they needed a new tin man so when they found another tin man for the movie, they used metallic dust instead of the toxic makeup.
Jack, you look better with straight hair. You've got a great voice, but you do sound better when you slow your speech and enunciate better. Keep the videos coming, and I hope this critique helps you gain more subscribers.
Lol nah
You rlly had to put subwoofer lullaby in the background 💀 I fell asleep to this bro…
Some bright history, and a wonderful story:
Not long after seeing _The Wizard of Oz,_ a little girl named Natalie Norris fell ill and was hospitalized.
I feel bad for these ppl they deserve better!!😢😢
I used to love the Wizard Of Oz as a kid and still does to this day!!❤❤
It's about time you got a nice haircut good job
That is totally untrue. The actor that had an allergic reaction was replaced with a different actor.
Just about everything said is a tall tail. This is a reminder to never believe what you see on social media. Take the time and research yourself.
POV: ur fighting the wither in Minecraft
The music:
Bro ain’t got balls of steel
*He got lungs of steel*
bro not the minecraft music 💀
Next fact: the hanging munchkin was just a badly painted bird because they are actually in a small box with painted walls instead of a real forest
The bird was actually real
The tin man changed actors and the munchkin death is a urban legend.
This movie is great 👍 but the more I think of it it actually seems to have been quickly put together and not thought through. Like apparently the actor of dorthy was slapped off camera. Like who would except that and that would also just make the actor look bad on scene...
Are we not going to talk about the Minecraft music in the background?
The thing with the Tin Man actually happened to the FIRST actor who played the Tin Man. That actor was Buddy Ebsen (Jed Clampett of The Beverly Hillbillies) He was so sick and was so fearful of the part that he declined the role and the Tin Man you see in the movie was cast and a different procedure was used for his silver tone appearance than had been used with Buddy Ebsen, which is why the second actor was successful in the role.
The “ munchkin hanging himself “ was a sandbag held up by a rope during the movie
No, it was a sarus crane. Film professionals are more competent than to leave things in view that aren't supposed to be.
Loving you're hair, kudos!
He uses eerie music for wholesome videos, and calm music for these ones
Next do the helicopter accident from twilight zone the movie
It wasn't a munchkin or a bag of sand for the curtains, it was a crane.
The witches makeup was flammable and that caught on fire aswell
Him this person died while in the background you hear Sweden from Minecraft that's the name of the infamous music
This is like the curse of the wizard of oz
It is still my favorite movie for 50 years.
Im surprised he didn't get sent to the hospital after loosing airacks boxing match
That was in the remastered version not the original one
bro it sounded like my cats were playing my piano
I love the peaceful music in the background while bro is casually talking about somebody being burned and being in the hospital💀
Miss Hamilton didn't go to the hospital; she recovered at home.
I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!.
OMG. You're new haircut. I think you are way more handsome with your curls 🤗❤️
Jack: *talks about messed up stuff*
Music: *peaceful minecraft music*
LOVE LISTENING TO YOU TELL THE STORIES!!( side note: your sides need more length. Not a lot, just an inch....)!
The snow scene was filmed with prop snow, which was made from asbestos 💀
It was made from gypsum.
