The Philly rant! He wasn't even heckled there though. Didn't give them a chance. A comedian who was on before him was heckled and Bill took offence at the audience. Came out and insulted an entire city for the whole set. It's quite epic.

I’ve watched his bit. I get hecklers are being rude for interrupting the show, and I can see a few, tasteful jokes at their expense. I do give him credit for ending the spat in the show. But his quips were mean-spirited, tasteless and low-blows. I’ve seen more tactful comedians on here.

I never thought Jesse Pinkman would become a comedian.
I’m also happy that he was able to find joy in that heckle. Telling the same jokes for long periods must get dry for comedians, so if you can do good crowd work like this guy did, it would probably keep one attracted to this lifestyle longer.
Now a days it does seem that crowds are more interested in comedy shows that involve lots of crowd work.
That wasn’t so in my generation of comics. We were more about a good story teller, but I’m definitely converting to the crowd work comic. It’s hilarious and the crowd just amps up the set with their laughter.

Drunk,stupid,drugs or just axxhoes , take your pick. They all fit in the same category.
Narcissists crave all attention, not just positive attention
I don’t think a lot of hecklers do get embarrassed in these bits. In the bits I’ve watched of hecklers vs. comedians, there’s often not much to be embarrassed about beyond interrupting the show. Bc many comedians don’t know them and just try to speculate/go off appearances, which can backfire on the comedian if they’re too cheeky + presumptuous. Unless the person continues to talk in an embarrassing way through their exchange. Some hecklers may also get off on being embarrassed, tho. And for some people, any attention is good attention.
Maybe this series has gone on too long. None of these were good
