Most of his fame is from hecklers in his crowd. An increase in fans from his heckler videos would certainly give the incentive to plant hecklers.
Do I have proof? No. Does the trend of his popularity support my claim, easily enough given The Broken Lizard Group has better stand-up routines.

As someone who grew up in a nuclear family with nine kids, was homeless for 5 years, and did a disproportionate amount of the cooking and cleaning at home, I 100% agree with Steven. Having kids when you can't afford it is irresponsible and cruel, especially to the kids.

Yes, that's right Kam Mueller, agree with you, however it is NOT a comedian's responsibility to do the bouncer's or club manager's job. Do you think Seinfeld or Sebastian Maniscalco put up with a club that allows people to disrupt their show? No! As you gain experience you learn to put policies in place to avoid big confrontations with drunks. A little bantering is fine, but if it gets where it is interrupting the audience it is not and time for that person to leave. All experienced comics know this and they wouldn't step foot in a club that didn't do their job and expect them to do it for them. At the beginning of their careers perhaps but that is out of naivety and ignorance and sometimes lack of self-respect.

this guy really let her off easy. she completely ignored the point/context of the joke, insulted him in front of everyone because one of the jokes personally applied to her, and still Karen'd out when she demonstrated she still didn't get it. most other comedians would have ripped her to shreds at that point but he decided to just end it completely with her thinking her opinion was still valid.

That's comedy in a nutshell.
I know people that have been raped, beaten by their partners e.t.c. yet fully understand what a comedy show is. And what it might (probably) will entail. And they can still have a good laugh. Also, nothing wrong with getting offended. Just as long as you are able to control yourself and wipe it away from your mind. Not start a fight with a comedian because he didn't ask everyone in the audience to write down their life stories so he could go through each and every person to allow him to rule out all the jokes that might offend people.

I went to a comedy club about 20 years ago and one of the guy's in our group tried to heckle the comedian and I saw first hand don't ever do that. Remember that comedians are professionals and most of them love to make you look like a fool when you fuck with them.

Heckling a stand up comedian used to be done just to hear the comeback and laugh along with them. Now hecklers are little too personal and aggressive.

Hecklers are sometimes good because they give comedians more to work with. I’m a stand up comic myself and everytime I have a heckler after I make fun of them; I also always say thank you to them for giving me more content for jokes.

I came from a family of 13...10 older sisters and two older brothers. When asked why we had such a large family I would reply, We blame it on the 432. What's a 432? It a train that would pass our home at 4:32am. For my Dad it was too early to go to work and too late to go back to bed...the rest is history.
One of my 5 brothers (6 sisters as well) had 12 children, I think he wanted to have more sons than his father, he had 6 sons! Many of his children were born in September - roughly 9 months after christmas, I think they had sex more than just at this time, but........?

We had 11 children in my family - we were fortunate enough to have a home large enough to accommodate the entire clan and we never went without. It all goes along with my Dad's belief that people should have as many children as they can afford to properly take care of.
My maternal grandmother was one of thirteen. Two were adopted to replace two that died in infancy. The family was well off for that time, having a farm with orchards. All 13 became good citizens, with good jobs like doctors, bankers, lawyers. My grandmother became a dressmaker, specializing in bridal gowns. I never did know which two were adopted.

I am the 7th of 8 kids. We grew up poorer than dirt poor and food was a major luxury in our house....I'm 51 and to this day, food is still a source of shame for me.

The Karen made his bit that much funnier, she was supporting his comedy act and didnt even realize it.
I used to go to the Comedy Store in Hollywood on Sunday nights to watch Sam Kinison try out new material. The funniest night of my life was when a heckler in the crowd decided to try Sam. I was on the floor in a fetal position trying to get air into my lungs from laughing. I saw a documentary on Kinison where Dennis Miller (i believe) was talking about a night where Sam went off - he said that he knew he would never laugh that hard again during his life. From the description, he was talking about the night I'm talking about. A brilliant comedian will not have the heckler removed, that person will become the center of the comedy, without even realizing it and will eventually pass out from alcohol or shut up because they're getting the worst of it. I've never seen it pay to be a heckler.

The point was whether or not the comedian would win. Odds aren't in their favor. It's quick thinking versus preparedness, and comedians normally have everything worked out before they get on stage.
Actually, since most comedians can't handle hecklers then if people start thinking hecklers should get owned by comedians this expectation will harm comedians. It will both stop the show as the comedian is expected to deal with them and lose them cred when they can't.

I met the youngest girl of a family of 20. Her oldest sister was in her 50s while she was 20. She was sweet and well rounded. Her parents had no financial issues
