Hey, great conversion. I see you changed the windows and had the frame disassembled. Was that straightforward? Was there any glue somewhere? I had a spare door that i took apart and it was full of glue so i am unsure if i should try to disassemble my actual doors. Any tips? Thanks.

Tha aluminium fram was glued in to the actual iron doorframe. I was a awfull job but after the first one i used a multitool with a scraping blade. Than it was reaaly easy to do. Remove the rivets punch them trough and then cut between the 2 frames with the multitool blade to release the old silicone.

congratulation. We have one the same, now in germany, transformed to motor home very likely as yours, and expecting we can travel there to take the commands as soon covid alows us to start travelling . I wanted to have a pop up roof, but decided it was too much for my friends skills. Can you give me some tips on how you did it, or some one who can make it, what to expect in the cost of doing one, or how you did it.
Thanks before hand and keep on the road.

The frame is made of aluminium since i dont have welding equiment for that i only drawn the design and have it made for me i think it was about €400 for the frame. The inner piece is a roof from an other 40.10 i bougt for parts i also turned it around so the roof dome is in the front so if you want you can open the roof dome and stand up in the kitchen without opening the roof. The only mistake i made was placing the pistons inside its better to place them between the 2 pieces if you want place a cloth in it.

Hello my friend, I am in a similar project, although with a bit of complications since I do not have the original engine and I want to bring my iveco back to life, could you contact me?

I have a spare 2.5td engine but not sure if i am willing to sell it. Parts for these engines are not so easy to get.
