Hardly defining dota 2 content. copied from csgo content of "nadeking" who no doubt copied from another game and another person. its just content. good too see though, not a lot of community interaction content about for dota2.

Hi Jenkins. If you do this series in the future, I think it will be more interesting we make a rule change. For the secret immortal to win, his team has to win the match, and no one should be able to suspect that he's the immortal player. I think that way, the immortal player won't deliberately throw, and it would make things more interesting. The immortal player would have make blatant mistakes, but then make up for those errors in subtle ways.
Also, if everyone guess wrong, the herald player who everyone guesses to be the immortal should get some kind of prize ($20-$30), so that everyone tries their best to win.

Make it a requirement that the immortal has to actually win the game to get the $1000, on top of doing so undiscovered.
If this is already the case, then good xD, I haven't watched the video yet, just thought it would be cool and make it harder to hide.

That actually is a great idea, it’ll make it harder for the immortal to get the prize because he/she has a goal to win the game, and not just pretend to be dumb and lose the game and still get the prize money.
Agreed. There was a need for some objective for the immortal to work towards so there would be a chance for him to slip up and expose himself. If not he could just lie low the whole game.
Naaaah, if he has the goal to win, then it’s not 9 Heralds and 1 Immortal, it’s 4 Heralds and 1 Immortal. And let’s be honest, if an Immortal wants to win the game vs Heralds, he can do it 1v5 while playing with his feet (which is how my teammates usually play).
If thats so, then the heralds would just throw the game to lose in purpose.. then the secret immortal would reveal himself for trying to win..
Another concept: 9 immortal players trying to find the herald who pretends to be an immortal. Wait... We already have that. It is Leopold 2.0.

@@phunweng962 For heralds yes. But I genuintely believe that 3-4k players can stay unnoticed in at least some immortal games. As long as you know the Dota fundamentals, it should be fine. Besides, the opponent can also have some account buyers.

This would been more interesting if the immortal has to win without being discovered and he has to split the prize with the Herald who was pointed out as the immortal.
That way the immortal has to be subtle and hide his game winning plays, and all heralds will try hard to seem like the immortal.
Yeah, like who would have won if they actually managed to pick the Alchemist out? Do the 9 herals just split it?

Great video jenkys. My suggestions for 2.0 is to incentivize the immortal to actually win the game. If you really want to spice it up I think each team should have one immortal, and the winning team gets the chance to guess the enemies immortal player for a cash prize. ❤️

Suggestion: the immortal needs to WIN the game to get the $1000. Otherwise he wouldn't have any incentive to play good at all.

More of this please! This is so fun! The Dota2 content we all need after having lose streaks.
Let's make it more interesting: Each team has 1 immortal and 4 herald players. Within the group, the team knows who is immortal. The goal is to spot the opponent team's immortal and to win the game if tie happens. Scenarios:
1- Radiant spots dire immortal, dire misses to spot radiant immortal. => Radiant wins the contest no matter the game result.
2- Both teams either correctly spot the immortal player, or fails to spot => The winner of the actual game wins the contest.
There might be so many mind games. You can either go for making it obvious and just try hard. Or you can really try to hide the immortal, and at least guarantee a tie.

There's something called team chat. The immortal can just captain his team to victory while pretending to be herald. And if it is an immortal vs immortal match with heralds working as the grunts and everything they do is listen to the immortal it does not make sense. There is no equality. For this game I see it okay because everyone is trying to find the immortal, the immortal tries to conceal himself. And that immortal did win the game.
@@chocolatecandycake What lacks in Jenkin's setup is that winning the game doesn't matter, and both teams don't have equal powers. I just wanted to make the game more like a Dota game. And yes, when a high-ranked player parties with a low-ranked friend, the low ranked one pretty much works as a grunt. There is no surprise.
Just treat it as a small refresh game.

I'm really surprised no one got alch. Maybe its because I'm immortal myself(humble brag), but it seemed utterly obvious from the lane he was intentionally sandbagging. The autoattack on always made it painfully obvious if I had any doubt that it was him.

im not too surprised noone got alch although i do agree with what ur saying. my initial thought on opening the video was "no one is gonna get it right unless its by chance". these herald players don't have the awareness/apm to play and look at things at the same time, and if they do they don't know what to look for.
