As someone who started with herald and still plays with heralds, it’s so fun watching builds and skills. People right click wards but don’t kill them, triple radiance’s on a single team, elder titan stomp into wyvern ult… I could go on and on.

Sniper headshot procs are honestly the most rage inducing ability during lane, the knockback and as slow from that are my techies. Because I have like an 80% wr vs techies, all my techies rage allotments go to sniper.
Reminds me of my first few games of dota allstars. It was so overwhelming and I didn’t have time to read about the item descriptions. It’s much easier in dota2, but I remember completely misunderstanding that small items built big ones. I also used to try and max out hp and mana regen, clearly the best stats!

i used to buy all 4 boots, 1 for mana, 1 for damage, 1 for movement speed burst, 1 for hp regen. I would literally die to a phantom assassin and buy a casual platemail, would go for sacred relic or demon edge for damage, 2 moon shards sometimes, a literal ogre axe or along those lines for hp and point booster for mana. Thank god im legend now

Specter could build Aghanim’s to have two different ways to jump on Sniper. That’s a 4200 gold item, but it does offer other benefits. If Sniper was good enough to do this, that’s a counter. Not to mention Sniper with a Dagon 5 isn’t going to be hitting as hard as a Sniper with an actual damage item in its place.
14:08 and this is why I understand smurfs. You want a casual enviroment, where you can fuck around, like build dagon sniper. You cant do that around immortal. But you can in herald. However... smurfs will always ruin the game for the rest, simply from the skill difference. So I do not want them in my games!
this is why I want Dota to have lobby lists again, just like the WC3 version with Garena or something. Just, queues of lobbies, no MMR on the line, no punishments for leaving, just play a game and go. Like Custom Games, but with base Dota

Ok here me out, why Sniper went Dagon. Dagon also kills illusions instantly. So whenever spec haunts, sniper can et rid of the spec illusion instantly. Its weak, but I'm gonna go with Big Daddy Notail, anything can works
Man you really don‘t know how beginner dota without tutorial works if you get surprised with legions item choice. In my first game i developed the 6 ring of regen meta, which kinda sucked, but i discovered the secret shop on the next game, which meant i could upgrade to 6 ring of health. Keep in mind, i did not know you could make real items. After i realized i would not be an immortal tank with a shitton of regen, i switched over to the 4 demon edge 2 hyperstone meta, and i figured out what items were after i accidentally got a divine rapier (i was going through the secret shop and got a sacred relic, thinking it was a lot better than the demon edge). The recipe only meta was fun while it lasted, but it only lasted for like half a game. I thought the recipe gives you the spells, the other items the stats
7:15 I think he bought items of every boots so he could benefit from every one of them. Like blades of attack from phase boots, ring of regen from tranquil boots and settled on power threads. Ofcourse that was dumb but I think that is what he was thinking atleast.

I think I kind of get what the legion was going for. When I tried league, I would just buy random components that would give damage, armor, etc. without thinking of combining into bigger items. I was too lazy to check what items were made from what. Funny enough, the one item I always upgraded was boots.
the "old build" thing at minute 9:40 that defenatly was never an old buid: it was actualy an old build. threads, deso, hyperstone was among the recomended build guides for legion at ~2013/2014

Depression, anxiety, excitement and thrill mixed altogether in that Rank. 5 cores pick, not playing the roles like at all, spent first 600 on wraith band and keep spamming chat with "give me salvo" while they supposed to play hard support, and spouting noobs to others while he bought shadow blade 1st item for his Huskar even after died 10 times in 10 minutes at mid. I dunno if you can call this a tip or what, and i know i'm not a proper person to give one. But, avoid playing at early evening to midnite if you really desires to climb rank. Craziest among the craziests of Herald gather around that time.

Herald bracket is so amazing to play with they dont care about anything. All they want is to relax in-game after their work and they're easy to teach about their mistake rather than the other higher rank bracket
The lc build is an old build they just usually bought a blink or shadow blade before or after hyper stone. I remember old videos that would say to buy a poor man's shield but after the item got banned some pros where buying blades of attack instead of quelling blade for better in lane hitting. Rings of regen was a cheap in lane alternative to tangoes.
