When I picked Viper cuz I got bored and wanted some hero to play on autopilot, I literally made the most soy face I could've made when I reached 25 and saw Viper had the Become Universal talent. I would've expected something like that on Invoker
Love that Valve just confirms that being Universal is so broken that it deserves to be a level 25 talent..... Not a single day goes by that I don't wish for Universal to not be a thing.
there are now universal heroes, who get 0.7 dmg for each attribute they have (instead of getting 1 from whichever is their main attribute). Most universal heroes felt "uncomfortable" at their respective attribute, but also don't really fit anywhere else. Some examples are veno, nyx, sand king, and most summoned units heroes
The previous talent was more op. -11 sec cd nethertoxin. Permanent break. Comparing this new talent to previous one is like brown boot to boot of travel 2. It's too much difference.

"Playing for +40 or -10" is such a dumb mentality. There's always 50 mmr on the line, not matter how you look at it. Winning 10 mmr is just as good because it means you didn't lose 40.
