Great job John ! Your scribing and rivet work is excellent. I received a 1/350 scale uss lndianapapolis for christmas and after I'm finished with that I'm going to build the 1/32 BUCKEYE. Three tone camouflage scheme. Lots of scribing and rivets with that one. If i can find two different pilots I'll probably use them. Love the videos , keep them coming.

Glad to hear it Neil! If you just look out for some of the issues I mentioned then it's not a bad kit. Let me know how your build goes!

Again, great build John! Based on your previous build reviews, I have decided to buy KH Su-30MK in 1/48, even if I wanted to wait some time, until I have sufficient space. And MiG-25RU will be next :) Many people criticise KH for various reasons, but you show us, that it can be finished into decent looking kit. As they say here - don´t say it can´t be build, because someone may not know it and eventually build it :) It would be interesting to see how would you rate such criticised kit as Revell´s Panavia Tornado in 1/48 and the outcome of such challenge. Keep up the good job! Fingers crossed for your next project...

Well thank you very much Michal! I'm glad that you enjoyed them - they were definitely a challenge at times. I hope you'll keep watching.

Awesome! Lovely build...I really like Kittyhawk canopies and internal frames. Love the wooden jig, mine got lost in mail. Good stuff my man.....whats next?

Thanks very much! I only got that wooden jig because all the cool kids had one - it's very handy though. I've got a couple of older builds I'm going to finish and we're gonna start fresh - in 1/48 to rid my bench of all that negative KH mojo...

Hi John. I followed this build and commented elsewhere in the series. I have since bought this kit inspired by your build which I have watched a few times now. One question please - how has the undercarriage held up? I note the front one is in two halves and the main ones look delicate. I am thinking about buying a metal 'G-Factor' metal set for this kit but with shipping to UK, it is very expensive. Is a metal undercarriage set necessary, or is your model holding up OK with the kit plastic parts? Thanks in anticipation of a reply and keep up the great reviews!
    Cheers. Gary

Hi Gary! The gear is holding up well - this plane traveled to my club's show and was picked up and put down a couple of times with no issues. My secret is installing them using 5 minute epoxy. I've realized that a lot of landing gear that's kinda borderline weakens even more with cement for plastic. Therefore I started using epoxy on just about all of my larger planes and it hasn't let me down yet.

@@MisterGsWorkbench Hi John. Many thanks for such a succinct, prompt and helpful reply which is much appreciated. You just saved me about 30 bucks! - thank you and I will stick with the kit parts then. I look forward to the next build on your channel.....a 1/35 KH Blackhawk series kit perhaps...? Obliged to you sir! Best regards. Gary

@@garyneedham3934 within the next week or so I should have part 1 ready for my 1/32 Ar-196 build. After that's wrapped up, I've got a build review we'll start of the Ocean Hawk from KH. Thanks again for watching!
