Anker, can you tell us the mic's sensitivity please? I want to know if it'll be any good at picking up ambience or not or if we can disable noise cancelling to maximise its range and hopefully to learn what its sensitivity is too. Thanks. :)
I would also like to know if you can use this without installing the software - most medium/large orgs don't allow you admin access to install untested software and you have no hope of getting IT depts to add it.
Not sure if you got an answer but i looked at the support page and found the manual for it. It seems you can plug and use it ,assuming there isnt any issues you might not need software. It says you can download to enhance your experience. I cant confirm though since i dont have it yet but its there if you want to check it out
Can you add text to your camera
I’m having this same issue. I got this cam for my wife’s work laptop. The software just won’t open. Everything works fine on my personal desktop.
You can use it without the software. But it’s just a basic cam at that point.

How did it work out for you?
Are the custom settings stored on the camera so that they will persist between uses & machines it's plugged into?
That would be a plus over the C920, and really help in office environments with hotdesks where the camera could be plugged into the monitor/dock and be immediately usable by anyone that sits at the desk workout faffing about.

Does this allow to record a session using the webcam and, say, Ms word or PPT or Excel in the background?

AnkerWork version 1.0.9 incompatible with MacOS Monterey version 12 - very frustrating Anker!!!!! No way to adjust camera settings under MacOS!!!

Good, better and even more better. Who knows what they mean by that :D
The Anker software does not run in parallel with other software, e.g. a browser. So it is pointless setting the camera up, because when I want to use it outside of the Anker software, none of the settings are remembered and the picture looks just as crap as with my cheap laptop webcam.
There just has to be a way to turn off the background noise canceling feature that's absolutely awful and destroys any chance of dynamic clarity. It sounds like the worst noise gate on the default settings before you tune it to pick up voice. Try recording some guitar or singing if you don't believe me or think the audio period is very poor quality considering it has two microphones (for some reason) that are likely small condensers and should sound great for anything you want to record on video. Isn't there a simple way to just use the microphones without Ai doing anything to ruin it?

AnkerWork does not connect to camera under MacOS - totally not working
Nowhere do you say if this is compatible with Mac and/or PC, or what the system requirements are. This is the simple stuff Anker.
Yeah, I'm a bit frustrated by this, too. I can't find specs or a manual anywhere. Plus, this video suggests I should go to software.anker.com, but there's no information about the C300 on that page yet. I'm guessing it'll show up there shortly since Amazon's offering them for delivery as soon as tomorrow already.
It's supported on both Windows and Mac OS. It's on their website.
