This video is dedicated to everyone who was left out in school and never had anyone to sit with at lunch, talk to in class, etc. Pretty much everyone who was ignored and felt alone.
Alot of times people dont realize that those kids that sit by themselves dont want to be by themselves. Some people think that they like sitting alone, but most of the time they're just to shy to make friends, or they dont know how. Alot of people dont realize how alone these people feel and how much pain it can cause them. You could change someones life if you got to know someone who has no friends. Sometimes you just have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone and do it.
On the other hand, there are people who prefer to be alone. I totally understand that and there is absolutely no problem with that. I am not saying that everyone who is alone wishes they weren't. I am just saying that for the people who are alone and dont want to be, reaching out to them and being their friend could change their life.

This song saved me as a teenager. Self harming, suicidal, eating disorder, I was slowly dying inside. Now, God has given me a second chance. I remember watching this EXACT idea at 16 looking for a reason to keep going. Today, 5 and a half years later, I am alive and well and living for Christ thanking him for not letting me die.

It's sad how someone can mask their pain by simply wearing a smile and a long sleeve. If you notice anyone hurting just reach out to them. Just simply smile and say hello.

This is really an eye opening movie clip combined with this song. I have struggled with major depression and my heart goes out to others that have struggled with it or are still struggling with it. It does seem like the depression will never end but things do start getting better little by little if you start looking for the good in life in various ways. One of the main things that has helped me has been Contemporary Christian Music. And secondly would be uplifting church sermons.
Well this is exactly me... I went to midland michigan high school and spent my 9th and 10th grades sitting outside because everyone teased me and made me feel like an outkast... My failed life is probably from this time.... I won't try to say how it hurt, because unless you have lived such a thing, you will never know.... Oh and it won't just pass, I'm 40 years old, the pain never goes away.... Who knows about me, but if there is anyone in your school that is alone all the time... Just say hi

When I was in highschool I cried because of happiness cuz someone just said good morning to me. Now I'm not that much asociable and I say good morning to everyone I saw.
At 18 I transferred schools and lost all my credits lol weren’t much cause I sat under the stairwell cause the only class I could manage was PE cause I’m athletic. Now I was this kid before and after I transferred only after I transferred I noticed that there was someone else who was quieter than me. And 20 months later when I graduated my teacher pulled me aside emotionally and wanted to thank me cause the kid Nick he had been her student for 7 years and she never would have imaged hearing him talk so much and him participating in activities and group activities and sports! Kid had great spiral. I just didn’t give up on him even though he told me I was stupid and retarded and other shit I kept it up unless he got pissed. But he always tried to hide his smile.

I love this film and the issues that they brought to the surface, most movies try to glaze over this stuff and act like it doesn't happen to young people but it does. I love the fact that this time, the stereotypical jock decided that he wanted more from life and decided to make a change. I hope they make the sequel into a film as well!
Lately my life has been falling apart and I've begun feeling completely worthless. This song gives me the strength to hang on and to believe that I'm not as worthless as everyone else makes me feel.

I can relate to this song every time I hear it, I feel like I'm invisible too but I know people care about me and that is the whole point of the song it gives out a good message and everyone has someone that loves them and you should never forget that no matter how hard it gets you are never forgotten that's all you need to remember
I wasn't really ignored but I'm pretty shy and extremely weird so it's pretty hard to make friends and I always felt like I was invisible.

I'm a 12 year old boy, I lost my mom to alcohol at the age of 7. My dad never showed up at my birth also. I live with my grandparents, but my grandpa would abuse me and my grandpa. Because of that I was homeless for 1 month until my grandma had found us an apartment. Then I was aloud to see my grandpa. that period in my lifetime I tried to commit suicide.I was 11 when I was taken away from my grandpa and tried t o commit suicide. About 2-3 weeks ago I tried to commit suicide again.But because of the most lovely friends (mainly 1 kid named Colton,and 2 girls named Sammy and Hannah) But also bands such as disciple and Skillet, they saved my life. Now I am happy and once again safe. Leave a comment below if you would like to say something about this and or what I have wrote.

+David osswald I'm sorry about the things that happened to you. Well my mum left me when I was born and I feel like my father doesn't care for me or love me. I live with my grandparents and I cried to my grandma and told her that my dad doesn't love me. He says he loves me but if he did then why would he leave me? Well let's just say my grandma calls me fat, slut and sometimes calls me a freak. So are stories are kind of the same. But i'm still crazy well that's what they say.

danbobbit153 I agree with what you say to her, but I wouldn't say that these things are "silly". Sometimes words really can do a lot of damage. Granted, you can choose not to let them affect you, but sometimes it's just not so simple for some people. However, like you said, there is always hope for the future, even when and especially when it seems least probable. Take it from someone who's been there, down in the pits of it. In times of hopelessness miracles are surest to happen, you just have to look around. They aren't always evident, but one day you will look back and see how things were being worked out for you. There are a lot of us suffering out here, you're not alone. I think that is probably one of the first things you must realize. It hurts when someone doesn't understand, especially when they mean so much to you, but there will always be someone who is willing and will understand you, and maybe has been going through the same thing you have. Don't give up. Take it from me; God is with you friend, and so are a lot of other people just like you. Don't close your eyes.
I am sorry that you feel the way you do, and for the things that have happened to you, but keep going. You will make it through. I say this to both of you, and anyone else who needs to hear it. There is always hope, because every breath is a second chance.
When I first saw this movie, I felt so bad for the dark-haired boy. I didn't understand why he would feel like that, why he would hurt himself. Now, a year later, I know exactly what it's like. I've been there. I've gotten out of that dark place. And now, I'm going to help those like him, and myself. This movie and this song are such an inspiration

I wanted you all to know that I am doing so much better. I have been self harm free for about 6-8 months, and it has been quite a ride that God has taken me on. But it just keeps getting better and better. I love the way that God has truly worked in my life. And I hope he can help anyone who is going through a hard time. This made me cry.. I used to cut and was in a really dark place and this song helped me thru and still does. I love this.
My Heath teacher had us listen to this song.. And she asked us if we wanted to we could see the music video. So I did. And this song and video make me think not only of myself, but two of the best friends I've ever had who attempted (and failed thankfully) suicide and cut themselves, as so did I.
Anyone out there who is feeling depressed, self-harming, considering suicide.. Just remember. You aren't invisible. Someone out there cares!.. Heck, whenever I hear someone has tried these things, it makes me worry. Even if I don't know the person, at all. There will always be that one person who cares.. You just gotta tell someone. Tell a friend, a trusted adult, anyone you care about.. They will help you. They are here for you. Stay strong..
+MikatheWolf15 There was a period in my life when I always angry at myself for messing up. It got so bad that I felt I shouldn't live anymore and I kept trying to kill myself. I never fully followed through with it though because I knew I had family, friends, and God that always loved me despite what I felt were my screw-ups. Thank you for bringing this up. God bless you.

Seriously, reaching out to people who might be shy around people or don't socialize very well can mean the world to them, shit like this brings me to tears, I'm pretty sure every one's gone through loneliness including myself and it's the worst burden anyone could carry. Who knows they may turn out to be the coolest kids you know. Wow, this song made me feel a lot better. I recently have tried suicide. I self harmed because I thought no one loved me or cared. I thought no one would notice me. I would get called "Emoly" because I was labeld "emo" and since my name is Emily.. You probably get the idea. So, I started this thing called kik and I made really good friends on there but I met one guy who helped me through a lot of it, I'm just going to call him Andrew. Anyway I went home from school and told them all the things they called me and he said "Emily. You know that none of it is true. You are made the exact way you were supposed to be. And don't you dare let anyone tell you different. Here, I have a song for you "Disciple - Invisible. Listen to it. Now." So I listened to it, now I can't stop. It makes me feel better everyday. This song hurts but its a good hurt. It makes me realize when I'm feeling like no one sees Mr, my Sir sees me and I'm not invisible to Him. He is my Sir for a reason. This may be Christian Rock, but it applies to me and I'm an atheist.
Well I am a Christian but after 30 years of life I realize that most of the time being a TRUE and FAITHFUL friend to someone will help more than simply telling them about Jesus. If I can't show true and legitimate love and kindness then all my other words are useless. :+)

a moment ago i was really feeling like i wanted to go back to cutting... but this really gave me comfort and im actually not one of those kids whose shy i have a really active social life but people don't know the real me... there's more that lays behind my smile that makes me feel invisible. I realized that cutting leads to nothing the first time is the greatest but then the rest of the times just eat you up inside because its all for no reason. I know im not alone, thank you.

great song, i love what you did with the movie scenes. and speaking from the loner's perspective, never underestimate what being friendly can do. it makes the whole world to people and shows God's love. but its not just saying hi, its spending time, loving them even when they seem to draw away, and investing. i definitely have been on both sides

This vid is really incourging, I was one of those people who sat alone and was beat up everyday cuz I was smaller and cared about getting a good grade, with song is a song that gets me through it all, this video speaks the truth, I had 2 really close friends, when they befriended me my life was changed, I encourge everyone that watches this to sit with those people that are alone or are picked on, I hated it until I met those two people, disciples music is strengthening and amazing praies God!

I just recently watched to save a life and I know that song very well. It hits me deep bc I've been bullied and left out. I have hardly any friends and the ones I do have never talk to me unless I talk to them first. Without God in my life idk where I would be. I hear all the time from my youth pastor that we need to stand up and just talk to those kids that are mistreated but no one ever does. So I've started a thing on my fb page where I've challenged people to stand up and help.

When I first saw this movie in theatres, I cried. I never cry during a movie, but this made me think of my best friend that I lost & I miss her like Hell today, but I recently made a new friend who reminds me so much of her & I've made a promise to keep him from ever feeling like this & I thank God for blessing me with him.

I sometimes feel like a wuss, I have a very sensitive personality, I can't be mean to anyone, no matter how mean they were to me, which is great, and terrible. I got a light scolding once in 5th grade about being distracting in class, and I cried the whole day. I hope God will use my sensitivity to help others like the kid in this video.

Sweet irony. Same here. The closest friends I ever made were because I crossed social boundaries and reached out to people I understood. And I only understood the because I felt the same way.

Yes, the movie is called "To Save A Life." It's about helping those who feel they have nothing left to live for, and also follows the path of the protagonist to becoming a Christian. It's very much worth watching.

I watched this movie last night and it touched me I will never be the same after this. It has completely changed how I look at the popular kids it makes me think that not all of the popular kids have a perfect life. It also makes me think of all of the kids who are really hurting and I know that this just doesn't apply to teens or kids either it applies to everyone because I know at one point people are hurting their life time just some hurt more than others and some come from terrible back grounds. And not to mention I loved this song before I seen this video but I love it even more now and it reminds me of how I need to keep being nice to those certain people even when they turn their back. I just felt like I should share that and hopefully you guys would be able to watch this movie too!

Ya know I'm just like the two main people combined. I'm a big track star but then I have been cutting for almost 6 years. I kept everything to myself, I would smoke and drink too. But now all that's over so I help people who are in the situation I use to be in and to my benefit I actually save peoples lives from killing themselves. It's such a good feeling to save a life
One of my dearest friends committed suicide today. He was only 15 years old. He was the clumsiest, funniest, nicest, smartest, most relaxed guys I ever knew. He couldn't ever catch me in swimming, and he couldn't write a good essay to save his life. He had the fluffiest hair on the planet, and wore tighter jeans than you could imagine....and i loved the kid to death. I won't ever forget all the amazing times we had together!

you werent lying about the triggering part..i used to cut and seeing that made me wanna make my kit. i was an emotional wreck, and still am till this day..but had it not been for Christ i would have probably be in a institution poppin pills or worse, dead. I just wanna pray for those that were/are just like me where is a way out from all that pain, hurt, and suffering...its just taking that first step out, i promise youll never go back

Coming from a "cutters" perspective, this song speaks to me. We don't do it for attention, we do it because we hurt emotionally. I quit cutting and found Jesus, and I have a heart for those who are suffering. It's a lonely battle you that you fight yourself, by yourself.
i used to be like this...the emo one that felt invisible and thought life would get better if i ended it. well it wont be. ive learned that. i was thinking about it until my friend caught me and was by my side every moment so i wouldnt do anything. then i found god in my life and things brightened. i thank god and my true friend bc if it werent for them, i probably wouldnt be writing this now
