Just saw this band for the first time at the Pensacola Beach Beach Fest. I’ve been to over a hundred Christian concerts and I must say, this group’s talent is incredible! But the best part (by far) is the fact that their message is spot-on! Thank you, Disciple, for not being ashamed of Jesus and not serving up a watered-down version of the gospel. You remind me of WhiteCross. Right in the middle of their concert, I once saw them stop and give an altar call and many people came forward for salvation! Rock on!

Saw these guys live and they can realllllllllly worship. Makes ya sweat and shout, "Jesus!!!!!!" You CANNOT leave one of their concerts depressed. It just doesn't happen - especially when you are at Acquire The Fire!!!
One time as I left a disciple concert, we went to taco bell and they messed up my order but I ate the food that they gave me and it was so good, I'll never feel the same after that. I will always and forever get a crunch wrap supreme! But, I also love Disciple! And, after the concert as I was getting into the car, the guys came and talked with us, like, How cool is that!?

Love this group love this song.. a friend of mines family got me in an amazing church and introduced me to this epic group. Man I really love this song. This group made me realize Christianity isn't about following other Christians it's about Jesus. And it doesn't matter how you do it. I had to let that out and of all places the RUclips comment section. I went from rarely attending church to a a firm believer. God is good all the time!
I'm personally Christian but when it comes to music I love all types of rock/metal, regardless of religion, even death/black metal bands that have an evil or even satanic vibe (but most bands never actually worship Satan at all) but I love this song a lot. They put everything meaningful to them in the lyrics and have killer riffs. And I like his screams a lot. I personally would like to see them have more hardcore songs and have breakdowns and such, but hey it's their band, not mine, and I take it for what it is. I don't know if their other songs yet but this is a killer track! And I could definitely jam to this any day. I just discovered these guys have tape demo albums, Lake of Fire and Trail of Tears. It would be nice to see these 2 remastered or re-recorded if a remaster isn't possible and released. They do an 80s rock style which is pretty dang cool, especially since I like bands like GNR, Skid Row, Motley Crue and Dokken.
Granted, I love how uncompromising they are with their lyrics as well, but regarding your atheist comment, should we really be trying to keep them away from listening to this, or from us in general? Aren't they and the rest of the lost the ones we should be actively reaching out to, instead of trying to keep them at arms length because they don't believe what we do?
I do agree, Alex, that a lot of Christian bands don't make their messages clear. However, I must disagree with your opinion of keeping atheists away. The point of Christian music is to glorify God with the musical talents and stylings that He blesses the artists with. Christian music is intended to be heard by all. This is why you can find Christian music in just about any and every genre. *It is meant to entertain and enrich the Christian listener, yes, but it is also meant to attract and awaken the non-Christian listener.* Many, many people have come to Christ through the music that glorifies Him. It is the quality of the music that attracts them, the lyrical content that awakens them, and Christ Himself who saves them should they decide to repent. Christian music can be a very useful tool for both strengthening the believer and evangelizing the unbeliever.
+1 There are far too many Christian Metal bands who water down their lyrics where it can be unclear as to what the actual message of the song really is. It's fine to do songs about depression, suicide, anger & hurt, etc. but the answer to those issues (Jesus Christ) is left out of the lyrics. It's great to hear Disciple bring a clear message and boldly speak the name of Jesus.

They do an 80s rock style which is pretty dang cool, especially since I like bands like GNR, Skid Row, Motley Crue and Dokken.

Granted, I love how uncompromising they are with their lyrics as well, but regarding your atheist comment, should we really be trying to keep them away from listening to this, or from us in general? Aren't they and the rest of the lost the ones we should be actively reaching out to, instead of trying to keep them at arms length because they don't believe what we do?
I do agree, Alex, that a lot of Christian bands don't make their messages clear. However, I must disagree with your opinion of keeping atheists away. The point of Christian music is to glorify God with the musical talents and stylings that He blesses the artists with.
Christian music is intended to be heard by all. This is why you can find Christian music in just about any and every genre. *It is meant to entertain and enrich the Christian listener, yes, but it is also meant to attract and awaken the non-Christian listener.* Many, many people have come to Christ through the music that glorifies Him. It is the quality of the music that attracts them, the lyrical content that awakens them, and Christ Himself who saves them should they decide to repent.
Christian music can be a very useful tool for both strengthening the believer and evangelizing the unbeliever.
+1 There are far too many Christian Metal bands who water down their lyrics where it can be unclear as to what the actual message of the song really is. It's fine to do songs about depression, suicide, anger & hurt, etc. but the answer to those issues (Jesus Christ) is left out of the lyrics.
It's great to hear Disciple bring a clear message and boldly speak the name of Jesus.
DMKelly20 Agreed. Atheists are the ones that need to be reached with the message of Jesus Christ. That's why more Christians bands need to follow Disciple's lead and send a clear message through their lyrics that Jesus is the answer.
